The Divani is basically a business hotel that caters to tourists and group tours. It is in a nice location convenient to everything and with good views. The rooms are nicely appointed. However, the wifi, for which they charge 5 euro per day, is the worst I've seen in a hotel. Incredibly slow. The front desk staff offered me an... More

The Hotel Divani Kalambaka is a pleasant hotel with a lovely view of St. Stephen’s Monastery high above on one of the rocks of Meteora. The hotel has a glass elevator that allows one to admire the view of the rocks towering behind the hotel. If possible, ask for a room on the backside with a balcony and view of... More

I got a mixed review about this hotel the pros are it’s easy to find, as soon as you enter the town of Kalambaka it’s right there and it has plenty of parking. The rooms are spacious, they have a balcony and most important they are clean. The elevators are nice and big, sometimes in Europe elevators tend to be... More

We stayed at this hotel for two nights. The receptionist growled at us on arrival. There are no tea and coffee facilities in the room and I had to pay for a very poor wifi connection. High quality hotel - no. it is a shame. The hotel has lovely views but is a relic of the past with its attitude... More

I didn't book this hotel; we stayed here just one night as a part of a tour group. It was a clean, comfortable room. We had a room facing the rocks, and even on a lower floor, it's a great view. Shopping is within easy distance. FYI: No washcloths, so bring your own if you like this sort of thing.

We just stayed one night over here. Its was pretty nice hotel and views from the hotel is amazing. the rocks looks superb. The location of the hotel is also good. Once we walk though there are a lot of shops. We bought a lot of souveniers and was reasonable compared to athens.

The views from this hotel are quite stunning, sitting as it does straight at the feet of the massive rock pillars which house the monasteries. Despite arriving quite late, we were able to access the good, value for money buffet meal that the hotel provides. We stayed at this hotel on the Easter Saturday evening - a very important evening... We stayed at Divani Meteora for 3 nights during the Orthodox Easter. It is a nice hotel, ideally situated at the entrance of Kalambaka (coming from Athens). Many of its rooms offer a view of Meteora, which is worth the higher price. The staff is efficient and friendly, the rooms pleasant, the breakfast buffet offers quite a variety. Of course the main reason to... More

The thing to know about Kalambaka is that no one comes here for the town. They come here for the Meteora monasteries. People come in late in the afternoon and leave in the morning. As a result, the town and hotels cater to the bus tour crowd that are not going to be repeat customers. When you do that, you... More
