A beautiful hotel situated in a beautiful location. The rooms were quite large and the beds were incredibly comfortable. Nice hotel bar, with an accommodating and friendly bartender. A little bit too far from town to walk, but a cab should only cost about 4 euros. Wish I was able to stay longer.

American visitor. Bus tour hotel. Pool was so welcomed on a hot August afternoon. Incredible valley and Mt views from private deck. Clothes/swim suit dries overnight. Food buffet bkft good. Variety of Greek and familiar foods. Not congested parking. Large room and lobby with comfortable seating.

This is the third different Amalia Hotels that we stayed during our trip. By far the very best one. Room was good size, clean, and good amenities. We had a great dinner at the restaurant, food was good and service was very attentive. Early November was already slower season, our group of 10 probably were the very few guests stayed... More

So very quiet in spectacular part of Greece. Group loved sitting by pool for wine and cappuccino. Sheets felt ironed, they were so nicely made beds. Nice patios and balconies overlooking central court. Reminded me of monasteries we saw in area in color and design. Food was good.

My standards for hotels are fairly simple: if the hotel is a destination in itself, and I'm paying for five-star amenities, I expect the best. If, however, a hotel is merely a means to an end while traveling (that end being a good night's sleep in pleasant, quiet and efficient surroundings), then I'm happy if it fulfills those requirements. The... More

Rooms- large. Dark. Carpet is grey industrial variety that looks simply filthy. Bed- singles. Newer mattresses. Sparse linens- only thing between you and mattress (hence DNA etc from every other person who slept there) is a fitted sheet. Common areas- nice, morocco vibe... I spent most of the night there. Food- not bad if you like the only meal they... More

We stayed here as part of the Delphi/ Meteora tour for 4days. The staff were disorganised and unhelpful. The room we were told would have a view didn't . We were down the bottom end, no view bad room. It gets better, the dinner we paid for consisted of a set menu that looked like it had been cooked the... More

Nice property with large pool just outside the town limits of Kalambaka. If you are on a group tour, you need to take a taxi to town, which is the only negative aspect. If you have your own car, this property is a great option as the hotel is fairly new, and staff and grounds are top.

As a stopover to visit the monasteries, this property was perfect. The guest rooms are standard fare, but both the sleeping room and bathroom were quite large. A bowl of fruit awaited us in our room. For a hot summer day, after touring, the pool was a welcome respite, and the staff was superb.
