The hotel is out of the main city and on top of a small hill. The view from the pool (which was absolutely amazing) was spectacular. Insane views of all of the Meteora rocks and one of the monasteries. We stayed for 2 nights and both nights we ate dinner at the hotel. The food was fabulous and the waitor... More

We visited in July and practically had the hotel to ourselves. It wasn't fancy and the restaurant was closed during our stay. The room was basic but functional but the highlight of the hotel was the fabulous views of the monasteries from our balcony. It was extremely during the day but cooled down in the evenings making for the perfect... More

The Hotel Meteora has wonderful views of the mountains and sits quietly up above the bustle down near the tee-shirt shops. The rooms are roomy and the beds are very comfy. And the breakfast was one of the best hotel breakfasts we had in Greece.

I stayed for two nights at Hotel Meteora. It is very convenient to the bus station, clean and very reasonably priced. The breakfasts are outstanding in terms of quantity and quality, and the hosts are very friendly and helpful. The closest taverna is Palamidi, in the same street, which is also very good value.

This review refers to the Hotel Meteora in town up a steep little street not the bigger Hotel Meteora outside of town. The reception was good and efficient. The room was a bit dated but everything worked and the bed was comfortable. The breakfast spread was table service and covered the table top. The location is up a steep but... More

First the good things: The owner Mr Dimitris was friendly and helpful, especially with the best way to see the monasteries without blowing up a lot of cash. He lent us umbrellas when the weather turned rainy. The breakfast, though unvarying, was a generous spread which included boiled eggs, Greek spreads and a variety of fruit. What we didn't like:... The hotel is relatively close to the centre, but if you're on foot, be prepared to take on a very steep hill for two blocks up from the main street to get to it. The service is friendly, the room was clean, the breakfast - bread, jam, coffee. The usual. For the price I paid, if I were to go... More

This hotel is comfortable but very basic. Staff was accommodating but not very gracious. Main problem was the lack of water in the late afternoon on both days we stayed there. Very far from town not walking distance

Be aware there are two hotels with the same name. One in Kalambaka, which is 2 star and the other in nearby Kastraki, which is 4 star. Kayak.com is misleading by showing images of both hotels. Rooms are small and basic. Staff are very friendly. Breakfast is nice.Hotel is centerlly located. Overall great value
