We stayed at the Meteora Hotel in Kalambaka for two nights to visit the monasteries. The rooms were clean, the breakfast was very nice. Although it says on their brochure that there would be a swimming pool there is none. more

I echo angten's comments. This is definitely a strange hotel. As though it was designed by a friend who is an architecture student and then built by an uncle who is a homebuilder. The setting is great with a wonderful view of the limestone pitons but as stated previously, there are no chairs on the balcony which makes no sense.... more

The hotel and the staff are excellent. I would give it a 5-star. Unfortunately, the hotel is located on a hill. It was exhausting to drag my luggage few hundred feet up a fairly steep ramp. more

We were on a 3 week tour of Greece with a small group tour company, Adventures Abroad. When we first drove up to the hotel we were quite impressed by the way the building was sited overlooking the surrounding countryside. Once inside, however, we had never seen such a poorly constructed building with an incredible amount of wasted space. Nothing... more

I stayed at this hotel by accident. I first booked at another hotel but my room was given away. The hotel, staff and room were more than I had expected. It was very ok and good value. Though the room and bathroom were quite small but it's spacious and served our basic need. The location is great. Staff were helpful. more

PAY ATTENTION TO THE REVIEWS - THIS IS THE BRAND NEW METEORA HOTEL. With a party of 40 people on a pilgrimage in Greece, we arrived in late afternoon in mid-November 2008 for a one night stay. As we got off the bus, and entered the large reception and seating area, we were greeted by huge photo murals of the... more

My wife and I were excited to stay at this hotel during the tail end of our honeymoon. We had contacted the property directly via phone to reserve three nights accommodations. Unfortunately, we were both severely disappointed by the ambiance of the hotel, the friendliness (or lack thereof) of the staff, and the condition of the room. When we arrived... more

There are two Hotels of the same name in the area and if they are related then they are not at all alike. We stayed at the 5 star Kastraki one and it was superb value for money. Mainly because it seems not quite finished. The interior is - rooms are superb, very clean, great fittings and very comfortable. The... more

Attention: in Meteors is two related hotels Meteora - one directly in Kalambaka***, and another big ***** in small suburb Kastraki. We stayed on two nights in suite in this surprising hotel*****. For such small town as Kastraki is a smart hotel. Big rooms and a bathroom. A excellent kind from a balcony on Meteors (see photos). But the most... more

We had air con, which was working good, and a tv, which wasnt. A small balcony was helpfull to make our clothes... more
