Dita is a wonderful host.she helped us plan are visit in metaora, offering us the perfect mix of hiking, views and sightseeing. The breakfast was very good including homemade pastries. The view from the balcony and breakfast area is breathtaking.

Excellent location, close to station and town, superb host, beautifully furnished room and tasty homemade breakfast. We will never forget the view of the Meteora from our private balcony. Highly recommended, as by far the best out of the 5 hotels we stayed in during our two weeks in Greece.

We have 3 kids. Stayed for 3 nights. Our room was pretty large and had 2 separate areas and one mini bath. The owner was very kind and helpful in every way. Breakfast was very nice, with fresh home made pastries. Location is not in the middle of town but view from the balcony was amazing. The bathroom was a... More

We stayed in four different hotels during our Greece trip, and encountered excellent hospitality everywhere, Monastiri was not an exception. What makes it stand out from the crowd is the very unique and tasteful decoration and furniture. Yes, it is a bit more pricey than other options, but not exceptionally expensive for the area. We really felt special here, regardless... More

The hotel is extremely unique in that it looks like an old monastery. Excellent location next to train station and city centre. Rooms are spacious clean and well appointed. Great views as well. The best part was the lady who ran the hotel. She was so warm kind and thoughtful and even done me auld town late at night to... More

The room was lovely and charming as shown in the photos. The bathroom facilities were also very clean with good hot water. On our arrival, the hostess was very attentive and also gave recommendations on the sights and sounds, as well as food options. When she heard we were leaving in the wee hours of the morning, she helped us... More

After walking 5 minutes from Kalambakka Railway Station, we arrived at Monastiri Guesthouse to be greeted by Dita. We checked in and were given a 'mud map' of the area and the monasteries. Dita gave us a rundown of the highlights of the area, explained there was tea and coffee available 24 hours at the bar then gave us an... More

Then you will cross the railway and take the right. dont go forward but turn left and the first street on your... More

Monastiri is a traditional style guest house in Kalambaka, one of the 2 possible bases for exploring the fantastic Meteora. The lady who runs this place is lovely and extremely helpful in every way. The room we had was spacious with a private deck and views of the rocks and, in very hot weather, a welcome, efficient air conditioner. Public areas... More
