The lady that manages it is superkind and nice. The view from our room was amazing. This hotel is ten minute walk from the main street (over the rail road) in the sleepy extension of the town, but that is what makes it special.

There are some places you stay at where the people you meet make you feel glad to be a traveler. Monastiri was one of them. The lady of the house, Dita, is probably the sweetest person we have ever met! Very welcoming and made us feel like a part of her family. The guest house is just a 2 minute... More

The Monastiri guesthouse is easily one of the best places I have ever stayed. The guesthouse is situated in view of the stunning Meteora monasteries. The guesthouse is located 5 minutes away from Kalambaka railway station, there are only 2 trains per day so there is only positives of being so close to the station. Upon arrival we were shown... If you are looking for a cozy, quiet, homey atmosphere, then look no further. Dita and Spyros who run the guesthouse, already make you feel welcome before you even get there. The guesthouse is situated just 10-15mins away from the city center next to the train station which is great if you are coming in by train. My husband and... More

Great guesthouse with wonderful host that is very helpful. We had room with a balcony that overlooked meteora - awesome spot. Adequate breakfast. Only 5 minute walk into the Main Street with shops and tavernas.

Worm hospitality! Beautiful surrounding. Nice garden with the view. Everything is decorated in natural materials...stone, solid wood... in the style of surrounding area and beautiful monasteries. We strongly recommend it!

I stayed here in June for one night and really liked the hotel. The proprietor was kind, provided lots of information for sightseeing, and a filling breakfast. She even pressed a bottle of water on me when I left, which was sweet. The hotel is on the south side, so away from the main square, but very convenient to the... More

The hotel is situated on a quiet street at the suburb of the town, but within 5 min drive or 15 min walk from the center. The nearby train station doesn't bother. We had a beautiful spacious room with a porch viewing the cliffs where we could have the morning coffee or the evening drinks. The room and bathroom were... More

We spent a night here and our only complaint was that we couldn't stay longer. The lady who owns this B&B couldn't do more to help you enjoy your stay. She makes an effort to learn your names, helps you with tips and advice about the area and supplies you with maps etc. The rooms are delightful with amazing views,... More
