I spent two nights at Monastiri Guesthouse. I arrived tired from travel, almost at the end of my one month trek around Greece. I was thrilled to see my comfortable, cozy room and surprise, surprise! a bathroom that was huge, with a soaking tub! The Inn itself is so charming.. Great breakfast area (and breakfast!) with a spectacular view of... more

The hostess is very friendly and enthusiastic, she will give you detailed information of METEORA. The decoration is very beautiful both the inside and outside. It's very close to railway station. more

Monastiri is a modern building very close to the railway station. Our hosts Dita & Spiro we very helpful and welcoming. The location is only a short walk into the town centre with a number of restaurants and supermarkets near by. We had two double rooms on the ground floor that both had balconies with views of the rock formations... more

This is an outstanding place. We spent one night only but we were so impressed by the hospitability of Mr & Mrs Spyros! The room was perfectly decorated, clean & beautiful, we did not expect such a nice place for an affordable place. We highly recommend Monastiri Guesthouse, they should be the first choice in Kalabaka. Simply excellent! more

As mentioned previously this guesthouse is beautifully decorated. The rooms are very individual with stenciled walls. The location is handy to the monastries and only a short walk to restaurants in town. You receive a friendly welcome on arrival including a cold bottle of water. The room is comfortable and includes a small fridge. There is a nice lounge and... more

Its location is perfect especially if you are travelling by train or by bus. We also enjoyed the magnificient view from our balcony. This place really deserves the name guesthouse as you feel like guests but not like customers here. We were welcomed with a big bottle of cold water and when we left the hotel to catch our bus... more

We have been to Monastiri Guesthouse in July and we stayed only 1 night. I wish we could stay for longer because it was absolutely great from the beginning. The check in was very quick and we got a bottle of cool water which was very nice as it was extremaly hot weather. We were 4 people (me and my... more

Having followed the good directions, we found Monastiri Guesthouse easily, and settled into the very large and excellently appointed room. Above the standard for this rating of guesthouse. Large modern bathroom, spacious bedroom, and a verandah with excellent views of the ginormous stone monoliths. Dita provided good directions, and we took a quick drive up and around the monasteries -... more
