Quirky but wonderful. The hotel is at the end of a 2km drive from the main road and completely isolated. So it's quiet (if you ignore the dogs barking from decent hills) and peaceful with terrific views across the Greek landscape. Dmitri and his family run the place and are delightful. Always helpful and friendly. The cats and dogs provide... More

My husband and I stayed at this bed and breakfast for four nights in June 2014. The room was big, well furnished and the bathroom had everything one needs. Breakfast was served by the swimming pool and there was so much to eat we told the owner to reduce the choice as we could not eat it all. Every night... More

Nice rooms, nice place, very close to town but the big difference is the people who run the place. Friendly above all, ready to make your wishes come true. Don't forget to try anything they serve, they put a little heart in everything. It is so beautiful that you wish not to have already made plans for daily excursions and... More

Very nice host and hostess in a location to die for. Set on the top of a hill surrounded on 360 degrees by scenery that looks like it came from a Tuscan film. VERY comfortable accommodation with a VERY comfortable bed. The Hostess prepares excellent and very tasty food by request. We hope to return one day. GREAT.

Four of us stayed, en route to turtle conservation and a tour of part of the Peloponnese in July 2013. The hospitality, accommodation and food were excellent; with the hosts always ready to provide food even out of ordinary times. Lovely buildings, views and swimming pool.

We booked the hotel quite by chance and must say that at first were surprised with the unusual location. We soon realised that we would like it to stay this way I.e. unspoiled, wonderfully restored, hospitable. The whole family looked after us providing us with tons of information. If I would make a suggestion it would be to sign post... More

We booked and confirm via Booking.com a room for a couple plus kid. We arrived found out that they could only provide a double-room!!! They intended to fil a third bed WITHOUT ANY AVAILABLE ROOM. We can provide photos to prove. Arrogant and deceiving. If they cannot offer a room for three, don't do it!

We stayed in Hotel Petropoulakis in October 2010 for 1 night. It is definitely an unusual place. We liked the face that it has a story behind it, and the host Dimitri was kind enough to tell it to us. We took a small walk around the territory surrounding the place with Dimitri answering our questions and explaining about family... More

We stayed for 3 nights and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Dimitri and Giota are warm and welcoming hosts. The inn is a short distance from the seaside town of Gytheio on the road to Sparti, making it the perfect location to explore the Mani and also visit the archaeological site of Mistra. Rooms are clean, quiet and well furnished. The... More

.....as well as a most relaxing holiday in perfect temperatures. This hill-top hotel has outstanding views over the wooded countryside and towards the sea. The buildings have been lovingly restored to provide a wide selection of bedrooms all with high quality furniture and bedding including - joy of joys - feather pillows. All the rooms are spotlessly clean. Our week... More
