The hotel "Zum Wilden Schwein" is the "dependence" of the hotel " Die Blaue ecke" in Adenau. The reason of our trip was visiting the area of the Nurburgring. The rooms are clean and basic. This hotel is perfect if you like the rural German stereotype. Lots of wood, basic rooms, friendly service. But it does need decent curtains, I've never been to any hotel room that let in so much light, with pathetic blinds on the rooflights. Service was good - but it is on the pricey side.

Nice location in the village centre, with allocated parking right outside; important if you're on a visit to the very nearby Nurburgring. Rooms clean, with quirky built in pine furniture.
