Beautiful view from the terrace at the lake, friendly owners but the hotel is crowded with 10 cats and 3 dogs. The cats are everywhere, in the hall, on the terrace and they were not afraid of our dog, they were even waiting for him in Front of our hotel room, we had serious problems to calm him, so I... Hello. It's true, your dog could not stand our cats .That really spoiled your stay. I was so sorry . I react on the hygiene which you evoke. As all the hotelkeepers, I am checked every year without advance notice. I have never had problem because no animal goes into the parts dedicated to the food and they stay either... More

Spend with my wife one week in this charming little auberge on the shore of thedec Lac St. Croix This small family owned and run is a must @ the Lac de St. Croix! We have just spent the day in Bauden, swimming in the lake, lazing by the water, then went for a couple of drinks at the Auberge. What a pleasing way to end a perfect day: good Provence Rose and the most friendly waiter you could ask for! Attentive, kindly, we did not want to leave. As some strange American guy... More

We stayed at Auberge du Lac in summer 2010 after a recommendation from French friends. This traditional hotel is small, family run and with a very personal touch. Rooms are full of old, heavy French furniture and ours had a large bathroom with a never-ending supply of towels in different colours and sizes! We also had a lovely balcony overlooking... More

The reviews that prompted us to book this hotel were 'spot on'. Room was large with an excellent balcony with a superb view of the lake. The food was 'to die for'. Service was excellent and the waiters charming. The only down side would be if you are not an animal lover, as the auberge is home to numerous rescued... More

This hotel is one of the quaintest (for want of a better word) and picturesque I have ever stayed in, not to mention comfortable. The food was to die for, all home made, even the bread, and I have never tasted Creme Brulee like it ever since. I am going back in 2010 and simply cannot wait!

This Logis hotel was not our first choice but that turned to our advantage. The hotel is a multi-floor building with a maze of small winding corridors. Our room was on the top floor, overlooking the lake, with an amazing private terrace. The room was large with two queen size beds and an assortment of "antique" French rustic style furniture...
