We found staying at the chateau a wonderful experience. It was a little on the expensive side (we paid 190 euros) due to the lack of amenities, but you are paying for the luxuary of staying in a beautiful 17th century piece of french history, so it was worth it. We stayed in a very small bed in a very cold room (no account was taken of the unseasonally chill August). Sheets and towels were not changed between our first and second nights (despite our request).
