“Beautiful but cold”

I loved the chateau and its surroundings but the reception was a bit chilly. Although the vicomtesse greeted us in the courtyard, she would not show us to our until the entire party had arrived. Unfortunately, it does ruin the experience a bit. But the rooms are gorgeous, if a little rustic, and the beautiful grounds are impeccably groomed. more

We got married here almost a year ago and it was the best part of our month long tour in France and Spain. The Viscount and Viscountess are fantastically down to earth and very refined all at once.
