What an experience. We stayed one night in the blue room with Loretta outside our window and can't wait to go back. Hearing the cats roar at night is something you just can't find elsewhere! The care the staff gives the animals is wonderful and they are all so friendly. The accommodations aren't 4 star by any means but the... more

We spent 1 night in the Blue Room with Loretta the white tiger outside our windows, and 1 night in the green room with Pebble, Wings, & Donna the tigers outside our windows. It's truly an amazing experience to wake up to the caroling of the big cats (and Cheyenne the resident Coyote) in the morning. The rooms themselves were... more

Value??? How could it not be a great value when what you pay for the room goes to taking care of the rescued big cats! The Safari lodging was just a fantastic place to stay and a great idea to compliment the animals. We enjoyed being able to hear the cats caroling to each other in the evenings and the... more

As the title suggests, my unconditional love for cats was well very conditional... However, after the 4 o'clock tour coupled with the 5 o'clock feeding, my life long disdain was evaporated and an appreciation started to develop... What a wonderful weekend. We stayed in the Zulu Safari Lodge, enjoyed the hot tub while listening to the big cats carroling... The... more

My husband and I were to be married in October of 2007, and with only a couple weeks before the big day, we were still without a honeymoon location. My grandma actually found the refuge while surfing around online, and knowing how much I love tigers, thought it would be the perfect place for us to go. She was absolutely... more

Turpentine Creek is the highlight of Eureka Springs in my book. The town itself seems filled with tacky retail shops. But Turpentine Creek made up for that...we stayed in the Blue Room (part of the B&B building) and could look right out the window and see Loretta the white tiger splayed out on her perch only 7 ft away! The... more

Having heard about the Refuge from a friend, I booked the Treehouse for my Daughters 13th Birthday. She has always said she wants to work with exotic animals, especialy tigers, so this was the PURRfect place to celabrate. We traveled from upstate NY, stopping by the Columbus Zoo, of course, enroute to our home in Hardy, Ar. With great anticipation... more

Turpentine Creek Wildlife Refuge is a wonderful place for any animal lover. We spent the night at the Refuge (in the Blue Room), and got to watch the white tiger (Loretta) right outside our window. The Blue Room was very large and filled with white tiger decor. It had a bed and fold-out couch, TV, microwave, refrigerator, coffee maker, continental... more

We recently stayed overnight at the "Treehouse" at Turpentine Creek Wildlife Refuge. It was a great experince, and something we'll likely do again. The treehouse sits behind the wild cat refuge and the cost of the night's stay helps support the care and upkeep of the animals, as well as the building of new cat habitats. Check-in was quick and... more
