My family and I spent Easter Weekend in three units. Because this was my idea, I received many kudos for our stay. The accommodations were very comfortable, and it was great to hear the cats in the background. I also spent an additional five days by my self while up in Arkansas. Each day I made sure to tour the... More

My sister and I drove down to Turpentine Creek Wildlife Refuge from Wisconsin...did we love our stay there? Yes, we sure did. We were greeted in the main building, and you would almost think we were family! We had so much fun, and my goodness, they even had breakfast type goodies in the fridge in our room. We sat on... Wow! All the way from Wisconsin to pay us a visit! We are truly honored! Turpentine Creek is an incredible place to visit but even more so when you stay a night or two. The calls of the wild in the night is an experience in it's self. All of our staff and interns take great pride in welcoming our... More

I can't begin to describe this piece of Africa in the Ozarks. We began coming to Turpentine Creek seven/eight years ago (when BB & Mack were cubs!) and started off our lodging experience in the Safari Lodge. It was romantic, relaxing, and listening to the lions caroling at night was the topper to an incredible stay. We wanted to come... More

We appreciate your long time support of the Refuge! You're right about the camping/RV spots... they are rustic but there's no other camping experience like this one! No KOA (that we're aware of) have a lion and tiger within feet of your camper! Spot #1 is by far the most popular because it is so close to Thor and Miss... More

My mom, daughter, and I stayed in the Siberian Suite during my daughter's spring break. We all highly recommend the Siberian Suite as it has the best view of Pebbles and Donna the tigers and Thor the lion! Also Cheyenne the coyote was entertaining as we sat on the front porch. The real show starts when all the visitors leave... More

Nothing quite like be serenaded by big, beautiful cats just steps away from your room! Of course, you can't leave out Cheyenne. She loves getting the lions caroling! It truly is a unique environment and a lodging experience like none other. We're honored that your family included a stay at the Refuge during spring break. We appreciate the feedback and... More

I don't know if I can day enough about our stay. It was fantastic! The staff were all so friendly and welcoming, it's very apparent everyone there loves their job. We stayed 2 nights in the kilamanjaro suite. It was such an awesome experience. The room was decorated beautifully and there was a spectacular view of the Ozarks from our... More

We enjoying hearing about your stay at TCWR! The Safari lodges are very unique and offer an African-type experience, right here in NWA! All 5 lodges are decorated a bit differently and offer incredible views of the Ozarks from the private back deck. We look forward to your return visit. Thanks again for taking the time to share your story... More

This is our 3rd time to visit this incredible place and our first to actually stay the night in the private lodge rooms. Though they are not fancy, they are exactly what they should be...glorified nature with appropriate decor. They are nicely constructed and have a few extra nice items you wouldn't exactly expect which was an added nice treat.... More

My daugther and I stayed in the Bengal suite. Awesome experience. We listened to the big cats talk to each other all night. The suite was great, very clean, breakfast treats already in the frigde when we arrived. They even let us check in early. Staff was so friendly. I left my phone charger behind when we left and a... Stayed in one of family lodges. Nice basic comfortable room. Bed was comfortable and room was clean, other than the window blinds needing a good wiping off. Small breakfast items provided in fridge which we knew about and was adequate. Room worked for us just fine as focus is to be on the seeing and being around the animals.

We're happy to hear you enjoyed your stay and the room was to your liking. The light breakfast is just that... light. It's just a little something to tide our guests over till they go into Eureka Springs for lunch. We certainly appreciate the feedback and your support. Take care. More

I recently stayed at the tree house with is directly next to some of the large cats. The tree house itself had recently been updated which was great! It was quaint but perfect for what we needed. The bathroom is pretty small but it serves it's purpose. We had three individuals staying, two up in the loft and one on... More

The Tree House is quaint but cozy. Our crew did an amazing job renovating it in August. It was time for a change and we're so happy to hear you enjoyed your stay. Having Thor next to it makes it even better!! He is one happy lion now that he's got his own grassy habitat to roam about. Thank you... More

The Zulu Safari Lodging experience was a delight! We stayed in the Serengeti and loved the artwork and decor. Plush towels and soft sheets were appreciated as well. So much thought went into creating this unique lodging. We loved sitting on the deck in the evening while star gazing and listening to the big cats "talk". The dedicated staff are... More
