We went to Turpentine Creek via a groupon I had purchased and absolutely loved it. We stayed in the Serengeti cabin and our friends in the Otavango cabin and both were very nice and comfortable. They were placed around a center deck with a fire pit, tables and chairs, and a hot tub. Three other cabins also surrounded the deck,... More

We stayed in the tree house for two nights with our closet neighbor was Thor who sang to us all night long. This is a very unique experience that everyone should try but you also need to take advantage of the rest of the facility fantastic time.

Over due by 4 years, I finally realized my dream of visiting and staying at Turpentine Creek. We had the Siberian room for one night and Congo at the Safari Lodge for the next. It was an unforgettable experience to hear and observe the close by animals at night. Thor was my own personal alarm clock waking me up early... More

Quite an experience. We camped in our RV probably less than 100 feet from a couple of the animals. Beautiful setting and the staff couldn't have been nicer. Lori the Director of lodging became our fast friend and gave us a lot of good info on Eureka Springs. The intern who did our tour was very knowledgeable and Emily the... More

All of our staff and interns do their utmost to ensure our guests are well informed about our mission, the refuge... as well as provide information on the "happenings" in Eureka Springs. This was the second time my wife and I have stayed in the RV park. It was awesome to say the least. We love listening to the cats. You will not meet anyone more friendly than the staff at Turpentine Creek. The staff truly enjoys caring for the animals and it shows by how hard they work. They all do... More

We LOVED this place! The accommodations were very nice (except no wifi. I actually enjoyed that). We stayed in the lodge and my daughter stayed in The Treehouse (which she loved sleeping near Thor)! We definitely want to make a return trip!

Thor is one happy lion and he loves caroling to our guests, especially those staying in the Tree House... which is the closest lodging option we have to him. We hope we exceeded your expectations and look forward to your return visit. Thank you for taking the time to tell us about your experience here at TCWR! More

I loved this place. My husband and I stayed in the Siberian Suite. Loved waking up to Donna and Pebbles. I was like a kid at Christmas time every time the lions roared. Thank you Lucci, Wyoming, Willy, Thor, and CJ! Also thank you Cheyenne for getting your two cents in!

Thank you for coming to TCWR and spending an evening with us! It appears the lions and Cheyenne gave quite a show and didn't disappoint! That's what makes an overnight stay so special. We hope to have you back again real soon! Take care. More

We stayed in the Siberian Suite while at Turpentine Creek. We were RIGHT next to Donna and Pebbles the tigers and Thor the lion. Right across from us was Cheyenne the coyote. They serenaded us many times beginning at dusk when everyone left, during the night and early in the morning. Not your everyday experience! The glider on the front... More

Oh you're so right! Staying over night with us is unlike any other place around. It's an incredible experience... hearing the lions carol makes you feel like you're on safari in Africa but you're right here in NW Arkansas. We're so glad to hear how much you enjoyed your stay. We hope to have you back soon! Thank you for... More

It was a wonderful time at Turpentine Animal Refuge. The people are SO NICE! We spent two nights there and we loved it. Hearing the lions roar at night was so pleasing. The cottage was nice. A couple of things, take quick shower, water pressure drops after a few minutes. The bathroom is seperated only by a burlap curtain. There... More
