After visiting over the years we were finally able to stay all night in the Siberian suite. All night I anxiously awaited Thor the lion to start his caroling. Finally about 1:45 he started. So excited to hear it. At the sliver of sunlight he started. My husband said he has never seen me jump up out of bed that... More

I visited TC from New York and it exceeded expectations. I was fortunate to have stayed in the Siberian Suite, right next to two beautiful tigers and a lion. I had been warned that the lion was noisy throughout the night, so I crashed at about 9pm. Right on cue, about 3am Thor, the beautiful lion, began his bellowing. It... More

Not only do you get entry in the refuge with your lodge but the room was great. We enjoyed the jacuzzi which was wonderful even through the temp had dropped to 25° outside. The gas fire pit was nice as well.

A night here is something different. We loved it the day before Christmas. The highlight for me was watching the bear feeding. Harley was served a large tray of almost everything you would find in the produce department (thank you Walmart!) and he took his time. Lots of time. He sat on his behind and stroked every piece, then picked... More

The animals keep you smiling and awed. Our "host" were very attentive to any need. The lodging was clean, roomy, and very comfortable. An excellent tour guide. Even our "host" animals sang to us all night. They furnished a dorm size fridge so we took a Nu Wave hot plate and 1 skillet and in our 3 day stay, ate... More

We had heard good things about the cabins at Turpentine Creek and the experiences that people had while staying there, so even though we live just a little over an hour away, we decided to take a one night mini vacation and try them out. We were not disappointed. Our cabin (Bengal Suite) was right next to the enclosure that... More

We decided to stay at Turpentine Creek instead of the host hotel for the MINIs In The Ozarks event...it was the best decision ever! This was our 4th year attending MITO & we always make sure to visit Turpentine Creek...I also give to Turpentine Creek as my chosen charity every year...so we figured we needed to stay in the cabins... My friends and I met in Eureka Springs for a weekend, and stayed in the Zulu Safari Lodges - I was in Kilimanjaro, while they were next door, in Serengeti. The decor in each was nicely done, but slightly different, but using an African and wildlife theme. The amenities provided were very nice - plenty of towels, fluffy robes, plus... More

We stayed 2 nights in the tree house. It was neat staying here and listening to the lions caroling at night. Staff will give you snacks and juice boxes for your first night's stay. Be prepared for a "cozy" bathroom w/ a barn door closing - not much privacy. The pull-out sofa bed is extremely uncomfortable w/ springs poking you.... More

We appreciate the feedback and thank you for taking the time to tell us about your stay. We are listening. The Tree House is a bit cozy but families with children LOVE being up in the trees and across from Thor the lion. It's a fun experience. Perhaps your next stay, you can try one of our family friendly suites.... More
