The room was very well appointed and the bed had fine quality linens and was very comfortable. We never saw or met the inn-keeper which was fine. I thought it was a bit odd that we just helped ourselves to ice in the refrigerator that was located on the lower level in the same room where all of the dirty... More

close by to the downtown area. Private and quite. Clean and comfy bed. We enjoyed our stay!!! We like that we could walk to the downtown without any trouble. There are alot of hills in Eureka but we managed just fine here.

If I could have given the Peabody six stars I would have! Our stay began with Faryl. She is a lovely woman who you can tell loves Eureka Springs. She asked us what we wanted to see and highlighted it all on a detailed map. Then, she offered some great tips on must-see places to visit and to eat. We... More

I chose the Peabody House based on the wonderful reviews - and I am so glad I did! The location is ideal, an easy walk directly to the main shopping/dining streets. We enjoyed sitting outside on the rocking chairs, there are individual seating areas for each suite. When we arrived, Faryl gave us a warm welcome, gave us a map... More

Within 200 ft. of main drag and right by set of stairs down to Main St. from Armstrong St. (If you've never been to Eureka Springs you will shortly find out about the stairways connecting streets.) Eclectic, yet tastefully decorated. No Victorian overkill or lace here, which is what originally drew us to it. Older house with modern amenities. As... More

I have been to the Peabody house about ten times over the last eight years. Never disappointed! The Inn keeper Faryl is a busy woman with a dedication to making her inn the best and her guest feel like they are a local in Eureka.

My (new) husband and I stayed in the Rivendell Cottage at The Peabody House for our Halloween Wedding Weekend. What a perfect location - walking distance to everything but just a bit away from Spring St. The cottage exceeded our expectations in every way. From the beautiful décor, to the gorgeous grounds, great view, and friendly and helpful (but not... More

I just spent my anniversary weekend with my husband in Eureka Springs. We always try to stay somewhere new each time we are here. This time we stumbled across this gem!!!! All I can say is that it was perfection! Perfect location, perfect room, perfect price...just amazing. The Inn owner truly thought of everything. No need for us to go... More

What I liked best was being within walking distance of the downtown shops and restaurants. Lovely B & B from afar with fabulous potential. Owner is personable and accommodating. Unfortunately, upon arrival the "lobby" was shockingly dingy and dusty. The grounds, with several dirty, green fountains, were a cluster of overgrown vines and leaves. In general, the inn is in... My husband and I stayed at The Peabody House recently to celebrate our anniversary. We were in the Dashwood suite...it's spacious, beautifully appointed with all the amenities needed for a private retreat including a gas fireplace for a chilly evening and a towel warmer in the bathroom. Faryl is a gracious hostess with a wealth of knowledge about Eureka Springs... More
