Stayed with another couple during the annual antique and classic car show. The pictures don't do this cottage justice. It is very roomy and nicely appointed with a mix of old and new. Myself, my wife, and another couple stayed here in May of 2008. The location is great. Walking distance to everything downtown, and you have access to one off street parking space, so you can just park at the cottage and enjoy the town. Word of warning to you, there are berries everywhere around the parking space and the backdoor, so... more
My Wife and I got married in this wonderful cottage. The keepers arranged everything for us leaving us nothing to worry about. The cottage is located a nice easy walk from historic downtown. My wife and I atayed here for our honeymoon in November of 1994. It was altogether a wonderful place to stay. The decor is warm and inviting,and the owner/manager of the cottage added to the atmosphere by leaving us a basket with wine on the table! We truly enjoyed our stay and we plan on returning soon, perhaps this year.... more
My husband and I stayed there five years ago for our honeymoon. It was a great setting. Cobbler's cottage is within walking distance to many shops and restaurants. The owners were very nice and accomodating during our stay. We are planning to return for our anniversary soon! more
