We went for a weekend with friends and were very pleasantly surprised. The entire cottage has been redecorated since the online pictures were taken. We found the house to be clean and spacious. The kitchen is fully stocked if you want to cook(spices, pans etc) It even had a washer and dryer. The huge Jacuzzi tub in Amelias Hideaway was... More

We were traveling with our two teenage children and wanted room to spread out. We decided to rent the whole house so that we would have three full bedrooms and two bathrooms. The house was very spacious and clean. I thought the decorations in some of the rooms could have been cuter, but the location was great, and I loved... More

Adelyn's Cottage is tucked on Hillside Avenue not far from the library and consists of Amelia's Hideaway and/or Master Fredrick's Suite. The entire cottage may be rented or just one of the suites. We rented the entire cottage for our 2 night girlfriend getaway weekend in October. The entire cottage sleeps 6, although we had 4 for the weekend we... More

The previous reviews about cleanliness had me a bit worried, but the new management assured me that wasn't an issue. It was very clean and the kitchen and baths were well stocked for a vacation rental. I thought the... More

Overwhelmingly feminine decor is a bit offputting, but beyond that it's an alright place to stay. We were traveling with friends and this was the only place that could accommodate us all for the right price on short notice. There is private parking, but in a tight fitting and kind of ramshackle one car garage. The room my husband and... More

This is a wonderful house built in 1885. It is a wonderful set up for 2 couples vacationing together. There is a bedroom and full bath on opposite sides of the living room. There is also a full kitchen. It was fairly clean but the place could use a good thorough cleaning - especially the bathrooms. Currently the owner cleans... More
