My parents & I stayed for five days at the resort. The Franklin Bungalow was a COZY 2BR/ 2BT. However there was not a DVD player as stated on the website. There was wifi but it only worked while outside on the porch. There was one parking space per bungalow; however, the space was very small & badly designed. Had... More

My girlfriend and I stayed at this resort just a week ago. The room was small...no kitchen. Also the fine print said no grilling. It was very close to other cabins so there was no privacy. We were only able to stay one night because of unfortunate circumstances and the owner refused our refund requests for the second night already... More

My husband and I stayed here at one of the cabins for our honeymoon for two nights and we enjoyed it. We had a full kitchen that we made breakfast in, a roomy bedroom and living area and a bathroom with a hot tub/shower. It was not the most secluded place I've been to, but I don't remember hearing anyone... More

It was a nice room, but I felt like the pictures online were very misleading of the true size and style. There was no waterfall as we were told and wifi was iffy. Our tub windows were directly across from the neighbors' and I didn't feel like I had enough privacy. Otherwise having neighbors that close was a non-issue. I... More

Love the treehouses. My husband and I stayed in # 4. Loved it. Never heard our neigbors coming or going. Never heard anyone. My husband and I will go back and stay again. We will request # 4 again. Thanks for a great weekend.

My husband and I returned to Eureka for an anniversary weekend. We stayed in the twin cottages #4, which is a duplex type setup. I was concerned that our neighbors would be too close, but we never even saw them. The two cottages are separated by a waterfall. We had deer roaming all around, saw red headed woodpeckers. Very enchanting... More

My girlfriend and i wanted a getaway weekend from husbands, kids, grandkids, etc. When we called The Woods Resort we told them we were looking for a secluded luxury place to stay. We were told the Franklin Bungalow was exactly what we were looking for, private, secluded and a luxury rental. We were also told that the balcony on the... More

This lady was rude and nasty when she check-in to our resort, didnt like the parking and didnt like the cottages,I guess she thought The Franklin Bungalow (which is very nice and does not have a slanting tub,it even has a grab bar which is perfect for a person her age) would be the only one on the property. We also have... Spent one evening in the 2 bedroom Franklin Bungalow. The rooms were very clean and well kept. The living room/kitchen were on the 'cozy' side, but functioned well. For those staying on the 2nd floor, the stair case up is a bit tricky to navigate and hte upstairs mattress is in need of an update. However, sleep was not an... More

We searched a long to decide where to stay for our first two nights, and chose The Woods and were very happy. We were traveling with friends and this gave us all our own space and privacy and to have everything we needed. We paid close to the same price at the Crescent Hotel and did not have close to... Beautiful little bungalow. We absolutely loved it. The decor was trendy and rooms had a comfy home feeling. I would recommend anyone stay in The Woods Resort!
