Overall, the stay was nice. However, I would recommend calling ahead to know if there will be a large party renting out the property at the same time. Our first night was very enjoyable. The property is quite nice and generally quiet. The dinner offered by the hosts was very tasty as well. Our second night was not as enjoyable,... More

We arrived after a long journey and Charlotte the housekeeper welcomed us and showed us around. Despite my rudimentary French, she was very helpful. We didn't meet our charming hosts Patrick and Frederic until the next day as we were out and about in the evening. We returned to comfortable, characterful rooms with beautiful views. The next morning we explored... More

Driving back through France after a wedding we hoped to find somewhere special to stay between Nantes and Rennes to break our journey. In our heads we pictured a gorgeous old chateau, peaceful yet not too far from our route, delicious food that you can only really find in rural France, a pool, welcoming hosts, a beautiful room with big... Lovely building and grounds, and the hosts are very welcoming and helpful. However, the hotel is an old chateaux, and this means the floors are creaky, the rooms may be large but not all have en-suite bathrooms.. Wifi is free but intermittent in the rooms. I didn't eat here in the evenings, but a colleague enjoyed her meal. Breakfast was... More

The property is lovely - lots of space, and a beautiful fresh country smell (newly cut grass). The rooms are even prettier than the pictures show. (We had Anis.) Breakfast was great, featuring juices, croissants, bread, and wonderful homemade jam. The 2 hosts are warm and welcoming. We had a lovely stay.

We booked a room around 7pm and when we arrived half an hour later we were still offered dinner although it's meant to be booked in advance. The hosts were friendly and helpful and our room was big and very clean. The bed was comfortable and good shower pressure, although wifi was a bit hard to connect to fine once... More

We stayed for one night at the Chateau as a stop-over on our way down from Cherbourg to Bordeaux. It was very easy to find from the main D road - well sign-posted. Our welcome was warm and we were shown to the Canelle room which was a comfortable room with lovely views and a big bathroom. The floors were... More

My wife and I stayed with our 2 Irish terriers on the way back to Roscoff to catch a ferry. We had the lavender room, and loved it. Lots of grounds, some eccentricities but we were delighted with the whole experience. It is not expensive, the dinner and breakfast were both substantial and good value. We will stay again.

We stayed in Vanille room. We slept in a superb room overlooking a vast meadow with beautiful trees and a juliette balcony. The room was vast, beautifully furnished and an amazing King sized bed. I would be happy to stay here with my grandchildren as they would have loved the park, the gardens and the two rather stand-offish camels. Aperitifs... More

If you like to sleep in a chateau the de cop choux chateau can give a good value for your momey. It is nice and simple, service is good, dinner was good, breakfast was like tipical french breakfast, therefore not too special. Rooms were big. Not very comfortable for families with more than 2 kids
