Good hotel with simple and clean rooms. Very good food and wines. We stayed as a group of 12 motobikers, the service ws quick and very friendly. The location closed to the river is outstanding. The hotel is closed to bridge over the dordogne along the D13 in the forrest.

As we live in the area we have eaten here numerous times. The welcome is very warm. Food superb although the menu is quite small but I prefer less choice and beautifully prepared and served . I have never been disappointed here and the setting is an added bonus .

Have eaten here on a number of occasions and have never been disappointed. Service is very good, and the dining area is relaxed with an excellent choice on the menu. The location is absolutely beautiful - I just wish we didn't live so close so we could have the pleasure of staying there!

We wanted a hotel that was in a beautiful setting for a couple of days from where we could travel to see pretty towns and the source of the Dordogne river. This Hotel met all our needs. We had been travelling for a month and had stayed in many Logis hotels. The decor of this hotel was similar to others we... More

This hotel (a "Logis de France") is peacefully situated surrounded by woodland, overlooking the Dordogne. The decor of the rooms was somewhat dated (which doesn't bother us), but our room was perfectly clean and comfortable. The only slight drawback is that the walls between the rooms are very thin. The proprietors were very friendly and welcoming and provided a good... More

I didn’t have the pleasure of staying in this little riverside auberge, my friend did, but I have had the very great pleasure of eating there. The setting, nestling into the a corner of the mountain virtually on the banks of the Dordogne gives this attractive little old auberge even more charm, which to be honest is lost a little... More

A group of 8 us stayed at the hotel as part of our tour of the Dordogne. What a "find" at the foot of the hill....wonderful surroundings, great accommodation and devine food. Not something you generally find in one location. Outstanding was the hospitality of Mme Fabry the owner who could not do enough to look after us and make... More

We visited this hotel, also known as Hotel-Restaurant Fabry, in early July as part of a tour we were doing with some friends in our Caterham 7s. It is a superb venue, offering haute cuisine, beautiful rooms and a warm welcome. Mme Fabry couldn't do enough for us, being especially helpful when one of our group had problems with his... More

We stayed one night and slept very well, in a comfortable bed in a room which was basic but sufficient and with a lovely view over the river. The decor of the place was pretty grim and dated but the food was superb. We had a wonderful meal and the service was very good indeed. Highly recommended.

We stayed at the the Rendez-Vous des Pecheurs, also known as Hotel-Restaurant Fabry, on Tuesday 22 June 2010. The hotel is in a wonderful location, just above the banks of the river Dordogne, near the Pont du Chambon. The food is truly excellent. Recommended, and well worth a detour to visit.
