What a treat. We had a wonderful stay at the Chateau de Nazelles. The manor overlooks the valley and on a clear day you can see the Chateau d'Amboise from the garden. Every room we saw/used had been fully renovated with taste and keeping in mind the age and history of the manor. The owner Veronique served us wonderful breakfast... More

Tucked into the hillside of Amboise and overlooking the Loire Valley, Chateau Nazelles is a gracious old home epitomizing old world elegance and rustic charm with the touch of modern day luxury and comfort. It is clear that Veronique and Olivier, the two innkeepers, are passionate about sharing the beauty of the region with visitors and their attention to detail... More

After entering the gate to the Chateau de Nazelles you magically step back into a mystical, enchanting wonderland of yesteryear. It is like stepping through a time-machine portal 500 years in the past. You feel a sense of peace and tranquility within the beautiful compound. Owner Veronique went out of her way to make every wish her command - she... More

We stayed at the Chateau de Nazelles for 3 nights in August. It's an absolutely beautiful, 500-year old haven, centrally located within the Loire Valley. Each room is completely unique and the grounds are unbelievably well kept. We made use of the summer kitchen, BBQ and beautiful swimming pool - the views across the valley from the gardens are also... More

Stayed there for 1 night in a room placed in the separate building. The territory is rather big, all green and beautiful like you are staying in a real castle! the view from the wall of the Chateau is stunning... Also there is a swimming pool in the hotel, however the whether was not so warm so we didn't try... More

It's nothing fancy, but it's truly a beautiful and tasteful place! We had a warm welcome by the stylish hostess, she gave us a proper introduction to her property, and we found they retro this place into a historical yet still well equipped with modern touch. We woke up in the early morning, where there the gorgeous view waited with... More

If you want to feel like you have gone back in time and are a princess living in a chateau then stay at Chateau de Nazelles. We loved our room with a beautiful view of the countryside and Loire River. We really enjoyed the beautiful grounds and summer kitchen where we would have wine, cheese and snacks in the quiet... I'm way overdue for writing this review and can't believe I forgot to write it. We visited in May 2014 after a full tour of the Normandy region. This was our two night stay before heading to Paris for a week. Our brief stay was remarkable; wonderful host and hostess, wonderful area to explore, and a wonderfully relaxing time. Be... More

Our stay in July, 2014 at Chateau de Nazelles could not have been better. The room was spacious and beautiful built right into the rock. The view over the Loire Valley was magnificent. During our stay we saw fireworks from the lawn in front of our room. Veronique and her family could not have been more gracious and hospitable. Her... More

My wife and I stayed here for 2 nights starting June 22. It is a very beautiful property in the heart of the Lorie valley. Hostess Veronique was very pleasant and very helpful. The Breakfast was also very good. Great advice on what Chateau's to visit, directions etc. My only regret is that we did not stay longer to enjoy... More
