The chateau was picked by the teens, who wanted to stay in a castle. This was a wonderful break between large European cities. We stayed at Chateau des Ormeaux based on Tripadvisor recommendations, and weren't disappointed. Breakfast was excellent as has been previously described, with toast, croissants, homemade jellies, coffee/tea, cereals. This is more than enough to start the day. We took a family trip to Paris with Daughters and the Granddarlin, with the finish in the Loire Valley and Chateau des Ormeaux. We had the Debussy/Ravel Suite, with the turret room made into a mini-princess suite...it was a fabulous ending to our lovely trip.
