Stayed in August in a family suite with our 2 teenagers and our dog. The room was huge with plenty of space for all of us and a fully equipped kitchen, which we didnt use, but would have been good if we had wanted to do any self catering. We ate a good meal in the restaurant - nice steaks... More

Four of us booked the hotel and restaurant as a stop gap between our first week travelling round friends and family in France and on our way to the rural gite we had booked in the Auvergne. We were not disappointed and enjoyed the small pool and sauna. The meal in the restaurant was very nice and we really enjoyed... More

We visited the chateau for 1 night in July last year as a stop over on our way from the South of France to Paris. I was travelling with my husband and our 2 young children. We are a French family but we have been living in Sydney (Australia) for 10 years and it was very nice to hear from... More

I have visited the Chateau several times. It is in a lovely quiet spot with good facilities yet only 20 mins drive from Vichy. The wood panel dining room is lovely and the food matches the surroundings. There are 2 pools (one indoors and a second outdoors) as well as a sauna and fitness area. The staff are pleasant and... We stayed just one night but really enjoyed it. The room in the turret was spacious and well furnished and the narrow spiral stone staircase an adventure to get up and down. The staff were very friendly. Pre-dinner drinks on the terrace with a wonderful view over the valley as night fell were special. Lovely restaurant.

We stumbed across this hotel searching Expedia for somewhere to stop around Clermont Ferrand. What a find. A warm greeting, a large and comfortable room (and an extremely comfortable bed in a room that was both dark and quiet during the night), excellent food and tucked away in quiet countryside. We had only intended to stay one night but decided... More

The setting is fantastic. The views unbelievable. The proprietors considerate and helpful. We spent four nights in one of the vacation cottages, enjoyed lunch and drinks on the terrace and dinner one night in the dinning room. The vacation cottage was perfect, two bedrooms, living room, large well equipped kitchen, bathroom, covered porch, private garden, garage and washer/dryer. There was... More

We loved staying here, our room in the roof area was full of character and had beautiful views. Enjoyed sitting on the terrace relaxing with a bottle of champagne. The spiral staircase to our room made carrying luggage difficult but this went with the chateau and is not a complaint. Dinner on the terrace was a nice experience and the... More

We stayed here with our friends at the tail end of our motorbiking tour in Europe as we wanted a special treat to end our holiday on a high. I am scoring this hotel as average in it's class because of the lack of service which I would expect when paying c £330 for dinner bed and breakfast for 2.... More

What a magnificent Chateau. We arrived after booking the night before. We were warmly greeted by the receptionist and shown to our room, No. 12. The room was beautifully furnished and had all the trimmings you would expect from a ***** establishment. It was devine. The bed was comfortable with plenty of pillows, a cold fridge, wifi and TV. We... More
