Stayed here for one night in April 2015; chosen on the basis of the various reviews - should have made time to stay longer. Lovely peaceful location, and Martine and her staff made us very welcome. We had a big room in the main house (there are more in a converted outbuilding that we didn't get to look at) with... More

From the moment we arrived (after a very long drive, in the dark, on unfamiliar roads), we felt pampered, comfortable, and welcomed. The food was extraordinary, and the owner, Martine, even accommodated my gluten-free needs. Our room was huge, beautifully appointed, and super-comfy, including the bed. The quiet of this countryside inn was exactly what we needed. The views around... More

My english is not good: I am sorry! .. So I just say to you: thank you so much for these kind words. Your gratitude is our energy. To cook special meals , gluten free... we need to be informed as soon as possible because we just use fresh products , most of them are organic. You're welcome in our... More

There is nothing wrong with this hotel and I'm sure many visitors will be delighted to stay here. However, we were expecting to stay in the main beautiful building but instead were put in an outbuilding that had dated decor and the only redeeming feature was the bed for my daughter. The service for pre-dinner drinks was non existent and... More

Thank you Trip Advisor for pointing us towards the Auberge de Concasty. We have driven through the Cantal many times before, but never thought of stopping off there. I am so glad that now we have. I think this is a place that you are either going to "get" or you aren't and my wife and I loved it. The... More

Thank you for these kind words! My english is not as good as you think so I prefer to send you a short but very sincere answer: I am very pleased to welcome people at home because before being an hotel, "Concasty" is my family house and I am so happy to meet so kind guests , happy to be... More

With tea in the garden. Beautiful country setting. Very friendly owner and team. Evening meal just average. Room light and airy overlooking the garden. Breakfast excellent. Loved the French toast. The new conservatory will be lovely. Seemed on the expensive side.

We 4 friends had booked ahead of course on our gatronomic trip around France. This place was a delight with beautiful grounds, a lovely pool, spacious rooms with great views. Dinner was excellent and our friendly hostess Martine a pleasure to meet. If you are ever in the area try to choose Concasty as opposed to staying in a local... More

Off the beaten track, when searching for peace, quiet and traditional countryside, lifestyle and cooking, you'll be hard pressed to find anything better. Martine Causse keeps Auberge de Concasty spick and span, and has always served us very high quality menus. Martine has a knack of transforming local vegetables and farm produce into delightful appetizers to accompany an aperitif, try... More

Wonderful place. Very kind and attentive staff. The grounds are beautiful and the buildings are well kept and gorgeous. The food was some of the best we had in France. There is nothing they could do to impove our stay. I wish we had the time to spend another night.

This charming hotel has newer, larger rooms in a separate building which also has a large Billiard table. The Dining Room is most pleasant and the terrace outside overlooks the rolling hills and swimming pool. There is a vegetable garden supplying fresh produce with which the chef does a terrific job. Typically, it seems, there is a set menu for... More
