We spent four nights in Aparthotel Alaska and certainly doesn't deserve the 4 stars ranking. The room, although very clean, is just too tiny and through the window you can see... the mountains? oh,no! just a wall! We couldn't even know what was the weather like in the morning! Apart from that, the room temperature is too hot, there's no... more

stayed in the Alsaka 11th - 18th January 2009 and had a great time. The snow and weather was great, the apartments are big and spacious. Only one english channel on TV, and kitchen limited to a microwave and two electric rings - which limits 'cooking' somewhat. The cards for room, lockers and safe were a bit of a nighmare... more

The overall impression of the Alaska was very good. We have stayed in several in Pas and I would stay here again. Cleanliness was trully excellent- the rooms are cleaned on a daily basis and the Bathroom in particular was new and spotless. Clean towels daily. The kitchen was as expected - only two rings and a microwave and fridge,... more

This hotel was certainly below average, but was a lot better than some in the surrounding area. Most of the bars/hotels etc. looked fairly similar to uni accommodation and bars...but then that is to be expected I guess in Pas. GENERAL HOTEL: -Location was really good, only 2mins uphill to the slopes -Free safe (with €5 Euro returnable deposit key... more

Stayed at this hotel February half term.2007 4* Hotel for cleanliness. Thats where it ends though. No couch ,that is set up as double bed. Bedsit feel of the D.H.S.S. variety.Camp bed I would liken to Gulf War accomodation not a hotel. No kettle , Toaster, no plug in sink. No mugs not enough cutelry or crockery for family. Definitely... more

Three of us arrived at our apartment full of thrill and excitement at "splashing out" on a 4 star hotel, expecting loads of room as it was for 3/4 people.....well it was a shoebox. After much moaning we were given a larger apartment, for 4/5 people but at extra cost (4 nights=550 Euros - 3 nights off-peak/1 peak). Even in... more

O.k, where to start? I'll bullet it: CONS ---- Ever heard of a self catering apartment without a toaster or kettle? Camp beds are for camping not 4* hotels! Boxes are for shoes, not sleeping in! 11 euro a sauna per visit is not value when a litre bottle of vodka is 8 euro. 2 policemen at your door at... more

Just returned from a week in Pas staying at the Alaska and had a fantastic time. The apartments, while not on the piste, are in a great position and you can walk 2mins downhill to the lifts in the morning and from the Olimpiades downhill to the hotel when you're finished. We had a studio apartment for three and it... more

Stayed in Alaska Apts over new year.. Couldn't be better, hotel very nice, bathrooms immaculate, rooms cleaned daily. Have safe and ski locker for free and use of jacuzzi/steam room/sauna downstairs for €10. Great location, just 100m from lifts and a stroll from the best bars in town. brand new place, highly recommend.. more
