good location, efficient and friendly staff. Plentiful food if a little basic. Buffet a bit overcrowded during busy half term week. Overall thoguh excellent holdiay adn a great deal friendlier thatn French ski resorts! more

This was our 3rd stay at the Magic and it was as good as ever. The meals are very good for what you are payinga nd even our picky 11 year old son managed to get fed twice a day every day. Great for the slopes and a good bar to sit in and watch the world go by out... more

Staff (mainly Spanish and Argentine/Chile) were very helpful and friendly with our 2 young children, very nice people and much better than in most other large hotels. Have stayed in Pas de la Casa before, but this was the first time in Hotel Magic. Situated in the centre of town it is only a couple of hundred metres from the slopes, so don't be tempted to pay extra for 'on slope' ski lockers.....save your money, at the hotel they are free. Great Hotel in Pas. We arrived after midnight and reception staff were very friendly and made us feel welcome. Hotel and an instant warmth about it-very cosy and easy to settle in and relax for a week's skiing. Breakfast and evening meal was good with a varied selection. Stayed at the Magic in Jan 09 with 5 friends. All girls, twenty somethings, frst ski trip away togeter all beginners who had skied before. Hotel was great, food was good with a good choice.
