I was fortunate enough to stay at this property last week while I was in Guatemala visiting Antigua and the lake area. This is my third trip to Guatemala and my second stay at La Casa Colibri. Lake Attilan is such a stunningly beautiful lake...the clear water ringed by 3 volcanoes and populated by the largest percentage of indigenous Mayans in Latin America. How can that be topped? “Unbelievable for Guatemala - David is a great host - privacy with a view”

This is my favorite place to stay at the lake in Guatemala. I stayed here last year, but this year it was occupied and we had to stay at a hotel. The home is huge and we had a fantastic time. The owner, David Yates, gave us so much help and information.
