We booked only one night, and wish we could have booked more, but our travel plans could not accommodate it. Lise and Rolf were very warm and engaging. Great food and comfort. Wonderful birds. It was the perfect stop after driving through the mountains from San Jose.

Rolf and Lise are the best! Their hospitality was top notch. Lise is a great cook and makes the best gallo pinto in Costa Rica ... I tried it at just about every restaurant (even gave it a shot at McDonalds). Quiet and great hiking trails - they have a great setup!

My husband and I stayed here for 4 nights. It was a gorgeous spot, and the owners are amazing. We enjoyed hiking, bird watching, delicious meals, and some poolside relaxation. I highly recommend it. Our room was clean, and comfortable. We look forward to going back.
