I spent one night at The Fort Resort for the main purpose of experiencing my first sunrise over the Himalayas. My accommodation was in an individual cottage with magnificent views of the mountains. The room was spacious, clean and very comfortable and the Himalayas could even be seen through the windows from the bed. A large rooftop area offers exceptional... More

The whole Nagarkot area seems pricey, especially considering it in Nepal standard. I chose The Fort although it's among the most expensive ones. It turned out that both rooms and food were okay. There was a Chinese tour group of 27 people. Buffet was very much catered to them with very limited choices to the western tourists, maybe. As Chinese... More

Stayed here for one night and was booked on the top floor of the hotel from which you can get a spectacular view of the Himalayas. The hotel has a very mountain lodge kind of look and the rooms were clean and spacious. The staff are very attentive and polite and also gave us suggestions about different kinds of foods.... More

We came here for lunch at their garden which look out in to the valley. All food that we ordered were delicious. The hotel staff allowed us to go up to 5th floor for bigger view of the Himalayas. Wowww, the view is spectacular. It's our favorite place to relax in Nagarkot!

A tranquil place to stay after a day of sightseeing. Nice clean rooms, attentive staff, WI-FI available. Typical buffet with good rice pudding. You can order ala-carte we discovered after using the buffet

it was an holiday that we won't forget in a long time! ... an amazing hotel with good staff and a great location. the bad points were the repetitive breakfast and a struggle to get a working heater ... you would get one though in the end ! ... but a superb place to chill ! ... would go again... This hotel was part of our group trip for 35 of us to Nepal. I only wish we had stayed longer. The rooms are lodge are very nice. The Wifi works well but you may need to ask them for "the other WiFi password" as once we got that one we had no issues. The grounds are beautiful. The had... More

This is the perfect place from which to view the Himalayas (given decent weather...so choose your time of year) and enjoy the tranquillity of some lovely gardens. The service was very good; we ate a la carte rather than from the buffet...excellent quality and very good value for money. The only down-side was that the rooms (we were in a... More

We stayed in this hotel because of a birding trip. Great and friendly staff and wifi everywhere. Only minus point, no lift and have to walk few stairs getting to your room but view was superb since we got it front and could see all the mountains and birds. Only road uphill to the resort is not easy and very... More
