Just passing and thought we would have our lunch here. Although it wasn't very busy (due to bad weather) it was delightful. Roaring fire, extremely pleasant waitress and the food which we chose, although plain was very well cooked. Broccoli and Stilton soup very tasty and fish and chips amongst some of the best. Very nice outdoor area and would... More

Thanks to the team at The Wyvill Arms for a superb evening. The food and service were outstanding, the steaks cooked to perfection. Drinks kept flowing, food kept coming, a fabulous evening overall, compliments from everyone at Milners of Leyburn.

Have stayed here half a dozen times over the past two years and have never had a bad experience. The staff and family are very friendly and helpful. The rooms are comfortable and warm in winter, airy in summer. The bar is great with an open fire and fabulous food. The breakfast is huge... Leave room for the homemade jams... More

Great find in the Heart of the Yorkshire dales. We stayed in the family room that was imacculate. With two double beds, and ensuite bathroom with bath and shower. We stayed with one child and a labrador and couldnt believe how clean, tidy and new lookin the dog friendly room was. We had looked on the website and the room... More

Just got back from this lovely inn, it's set between leyburn and bedale in a beautiful village rural location! We were made to feel welcome as soon as we arrived and were shown to our family room which was very spacious clean and nicely decorated! The best part of this stay had to be the evening meal which was fantastic,... More

We stayed one night before attending Tennants auction. The dinner was superb both food and service. Our room was very warm and comfortable with a great shower. We hope to return and would definitely recommend it.

This is a lovely little hotel, in a great , quiet location. We heard owls at night and pheasants! The room was comfortable but the huge bed was lovely! Hard to leave on a foggy November morning. Breakfast was excellent as was dinner. Really lovely food, friendly service and nothing too much trouble. Would definitely stay again!

The rooms and food at this Inn are superb, if you are in the area take time to seek out this little gem. The room had one of the most comfortable beds I have ever slept in and is fitted out to an extremely high standard. The evening meal was freshly cooked and delicious as was breakfast, which kept me... More
