This was just the place to relax and be looked after, after having had our car written-off. Everything had been thought of. We were welcomed with tea and an excellent strawberry tartlet served in our room. Our room and bathroom were superb. An enjoyable occupation while having breakfast or an evening meal, which we enjoyed one evening, was watching the... More

We arrived on a very hot Friday afternoon for a two night stay. Warmly welcomed by Alf and Ann as we parked up before a guided tour of the room and the communal areas around. A shoes off policy at the door is adopted which may take some by surprise but as well as keeping the immaculate floors immaculate it... More

Having just returned from three fabulous nights at Riverwood, we can say, without doubt, that this is the finest B&B accommodation we have ever stayed in. Contemporary, spacious and immaculately clean rooms with linen, refinements and personal touches to match; this place is a hidden gem. Absolutely nothing is too much trouble for Alf and Ann, the owners. Whether it’s... More

Stayed here for two nights recently and was completely bowled over by the experience. Nothing about the stay was less than perfect. Our room was a junior suite with its own front and back door, decor was fresh and modern, everything spotlessly clean and bathroom was amazing. Bed was very comfy and plenty storage for clothes etc. Freshly made strawberry... More

We stayed for one night at Riverwood, having made a last minute booking. It was staggeringly good - we had a 4 room suite, exceptionally high quality and comfortable furnishings, lovely views to the river across a garden (complete with pheasants, red squirrels and an assortment of birds), delicious breakfast, friendly and helpful owners. The owner helped us find a... More

This was our second time at Riverwood as we were so impressed with the first stay albeit only one night. Our return did not disappoint us. Alf and Ann are wonderful hosts, a warm welcome back with nothing too much trouble. The spacious room with large ensuite, the view over the garden to the River Tay, the pheasant and red... More

Where do i start. The riverwood was our first stop on our minimoon (honeymoon but smaller) and it was FANTASTIC. Alf and Ann are great hosts and make you feel right at home, the rooms are light and airy and beds massive and comfy and the view looking over the garden with the River Tay at the bottom was amazing...
