We arrived around 6 and expected to stay in the room the afternoon but it was freezing. The lady told us she had forgotten to put on the heating before but she should have done much more to help. They should have extra radiatord in case that happened, or at least make sure all the radiators were on (the one... More

An older and charming small business. This is not a "hotel" in the modern sense, far more a traditional but informal leisure retreat. Tea and coffee making facilities are available downstairs in one of the two "common rooms". The other room has a large TV where you can again enjoy the company of other guests during the evening. How refreshing... More

We really enjoyed our stay at this excellent guest house set in beautiful Perthshire,Its furnishings are of a day gone by but it offers such peace and tranquility that would be an artists dream with views of great landscapes including the mighty River Tay close by just waiting to be captured on canvas. The staff were really friendly and helpful... More

What a fabulous two night stay for rest and relaxation with my elderly mum, would quite happily have stayed for much longer! The house was wonderful, with so much space available for us to use, and although it was a bit wet we still enjoyed a wander in the gardens. The staff were friendly and very helpful, and the breakfasts... More

First impressions of this beautiful old house stay with you throughout your stay. The setting is lovely and the interior transports you back to a previous era. The house is decorated and furnished in an old fashioned style in keeping with the period of the house, which is just perfect. There are a few mod cons such as TV and... More

Absolutely beautiful setting. Excellent cooked breakfast. Wonderful views. Room was very large with a very comfy bed. Not much more to say really. River Tay is virtually on the doorstep. I would highly recommend staying here if you're visiting the area.

Lovey house, furnished with antiques and yet a comfortable, relaxing ambience. My daughter and I were in room 1 - a lovely twin bedded room at the front of the house with amazing views across the river. Ideal for what we needed - to relax and unwind for a couple of nights. Breakfast was lovely and our welcome to the... More

This place is pretty as soon as you go up the drive. There are plenty of flowers/ colour in the gardens. As soon as we arrived, we were shown to our room with large twin beds There were a couple of steps down into our very large shower room. (There was nice views from all of the bedrooms. ) We... More

This place was truly an hidden pearl. The house it self looks beautiful and the interior and furniture sends you back in time. Very impressive inside. The room was perfect with very comfortable beds. Bendarroch is so impressive when you pull in the drive with fantastic grounds and large spacious rooms. Furnishings very quaint and in keeping with a period house. No TV or tea and coffee facilities in the bedrooms but a lovely lounge and conservatory downstairs where tea and coffee is available. Breakfast was lovely.
