Lovely building set in glorious country setting. A little hilly and tucked away. Rooms very large and a bit cold on arrival but once curtains closed it was cosy. Rooms dressed in Victorian type furniture and beds huge which you disappear into. Downside is the 2 flights of stairs to the rooms and there are no tea or coffee facilities... More

Lovely house situated in a very quiet hamlet. Rooms spacious and good view from window. Good use of three public rooms especially conservatory which was lovely sitting hearing the birds chirping away not a sound of any traffic. Plenty use of tea and coffee facilities and custard creams. Very special thank you to Vanessa how found my emerald eternity ring... More

Pleasant and friendly host. Superb location with extensive gardens and views at the front to the River Tay nearby. Evening meals available within 5 minute walk across the bridge. Charming/interesting décor, furniture, pictures and ornaments, etc., Good breakfast menu. Probably an idyllic place to stay during warm spring/summer weather... Regrettably, central heating throughout the house is inadequate for cold winter... More

When looking for a place to stay near Pitlochry put this on TOP of your list. Beautiful old manor in a few acres. Lovely river and mountain views. Delightful hosts who are managers. Very clean rooms with en-suites. Very, very good shower which is a must. Terrific breakfast menu served very professionally. Delightful lounge and a tv room. I have... More

We arrived around 6 and expected to stay in the room the afternoon but it was freezing. The lady told us she had forgotten to put on the heating before but she should have done much more to help. They should have extra radiatord in case that happened, or at least make sure all the radiators were on (the one... More

An older and charming small business. This is not a "hotel" in the modern sense, far more a traditional but informal leisure retreat. Tea and coffee making facilities are available downstairs in one of the two "common rooms". The other room has a large TV where you can again enjoy the company of other guests during the evening. How refreshing... More

We really enjoyed our stay at this excellent guest house set in beautiful Perthshire,Its furnishings are of a day gone by but it offers such peace and tranquility that would be an artists dream with views of great landscapes including the mighty River Tay close by just waiting to be captured on canvas. The staff were really friendly and helpful... More

What a fabulous two night stay for rest and relaxation with my elderly mum, would quite happily have stayed for much longer! The house was wonderful, with so much space available for us to use, and although it was a bit wet we still enjoyed a wander in the gardens. The staff were friendly and very helpful, and the breakfasts... More

First impressions of this beautiful old house stay with you throughout your stay. The setting is lovely and the interior transports you back to a previous era. The house is decorated and furnished in an old fashioned style in keeping with the period of the house, which is just perfect. There are a few mod cons such as TV and... More

Absolutely beautiful setting. Excellent cooked breakfast. Wonderful views. Room was very large with a very comfy bed. Not much more to say really. River Tay is virtually on the doorstep. I would highly recommend staying here if you're visiting the area.
