We booked this hotel at the last minute when visiting the Enchanted Forrest in Pitlochry. We were met by a very lovely Spanish woman who showed us round and we were given a very large twin room at the front of the house (No 1). Yes the hotel is quite dated and could do with some modernisation, however it is... More

The staff at Bendarroch are warm and welcoming. The house is quaint but charming. All the facilities are present - just not always as you expect. The Highland Chocolatier is a short walk away and a very nice looking restaurant right beside the Tay. After a long walk round the Enchanted Forest I was delighted to find cupasoup beside the... Pitch dark and not very easy to find even with a Tom Tom. Although it is straight off the road. Greeted by Vanessa a young Spanish woman. I think her partner and her run the place. She showed us where the dining room, conservatory, front room and TV room were and then showed us how to work the front door... More

Here you have a lovely Victorian house that has maintained its character, resisting modernisation. So you get an old house with sympathetic interior decor. Is everything perfect - far from it, but what is perfect and who wants perfect anyway. The house is clean, the rooms large, the bed is good, the breakfast great, the staff all very friendly and... My daughter and I had room number 1, with comfortable twin beds, and a fantastic view. The room was large and welcoming. Breakfast was fantastic with 3 choices of warm food plus cererals, yogurt and home baked muffins and much more. The staff were all friendly and the whole accommodation was clean.

We stayed for one night, with two kids. Staff was really helpfull, especially young spanish girl. This is really a guest house, not a hotel, with magnificent rooms, and two saloons. Dining room is like from a movie, with good breakfast. We were all totally full. We have had sonny weather, this was even more perfect. I was missing coffee... More

Stayed June 10th, 2015 We stayed one night at Bendarroch House. Bendarroch House is a small castle situated on 4 acres of fairytale gardens and forest leading up to the River Tay. The house and grounds are amazing. The rooms have beautiful garden views. The guest areas of the house are tastefully decorated and period antiques are interspersed throughout. Along... More

We stayed here on May 10, 2015. Benderroch House is a lovely stone mansion located in the forest above the main road and the river. The room is located on the second floor, and there are several sitting rooms for guests, including a very nice sun room. A large-screen TV is available downstairs, but no TV is in the room.... More

-_Very nice B&B. Fabulous beds and rooms. A lovely 5' walk takes you to" Inn on the Tay" for dinner. Beautifull restaurant on the river with very good meals served. The country sorrounding is out of this world and the hostess very friendly.
