We have been coming to the Cabana for 11 yrs. My daughter was 2 when we first started coming to the Cabana. What attracted us to the Cabana was the awesome neon sign. We had found a jewel in Yuma. We would always stay in the suites. My kids loved the place. We would come and stay during our Christmas... More

For the price and location if you are just passing through Yuma this is a great little motel. I am a sucker for motels with neon signs and they have a good one. It wasn't all lit but I'll forgive them. We were traveling from Tucson, AZ to Palm Springs, CA and Yuma is just over half way. The motel... More

I stayed at this motel for my nieces graduation foe two nights. It was a nice room, very clean and quiet. In the morning got to eat breakfast was able to save money for that extra meal. The front desk girls were really friendly and polite with me. I also got to enjoy a nice and clean pool. would definitely stay... More

I have been staying at the Yuma Cabana for the last 8 years the first 6 were very nice rooms were clean had security on all the outer doors so you had to use your room key to get in the building the staff were always willing to do what ever it took to make you feel at home then... More

I stayed here for the kitsch value and also because the hotel was dirt cheap. The hotel from the outside is cute, the rooms on the inside look like an old school or gymnasium. Cinder block walls, awful lighting, scratchy bedding, the shower and bathroom were pretty gross. Mostly I just felt concerned for my safety all night. Didn't really... More

I have been staying at this motel for 13 years. When it changed owners two years ago I had my doubts especially because staff that had been working there for a long time had been fired. I cancelled a reservation but the new owner did her best to lure me back and that first stay with the new owner was... More

We stayed in this motel for only one night. It was very old and in poor condition. The room smelled like old smoke hidden by some pungent spray. The blanket had cigarette holes in it. The carpet was old and dirty. The air conditioner was old and very noisy. After this experience we vowed never to stay in a motel... More

A group of us has been making an annual trip to Algodonas, Mexico for the past ten years. After the first two, we decided that the round trip back to Phoenix was too much for one day. The next year I found the Cabana on the internet and booked our group in overnight. We have been staying there ever since,... More

Went to Yuma recently for some dental work in Mexico. Stayed in the Cabana for a couple nights. I have seen it in the past but was always a little afraid. Painted a gaudy, bright, pink, I was a little nervous. Nicest place I have stayed in Yuma. Older place but well maintained. Clean carpets, no chipped or peeling paint,... More

I want everyone to know about this place. There are lots of new, much more expensive chain hotels/motels in Yuma, but they don't have the character of the Yuma Cabana. Staff are so friendly, it feels like a home away from home, and they get lots of repeat snowbirds in the winter which also helps the friendliness. Fun, funky 50's... More
