Before returning to Australia I recently spent one night at The Lee Hotel & was pleasently surprised to find the old world charm of yesteryear. The management seemed friendly, the room was clean & very charming. I thought of the "3:10 To Yuma" days.

Stayed at Hotel Lee on several occasions a number of years ago while having some extensive dental work done in Algodones, Mexico (highly quality work) just over the border. Bob was a real pleasure to deal with... but he's not the owner anymore. On this trip I couldn't get a firm commitment as to a reservation ("I'm sure we can... More

I hit upon this hotel by accident. Somebody on my trip recommended it to me - otherwise I would probably have not found this hotel. When I arrived quite late at night, I thought this hotel looked just like straight out of a David Lynch or ghost story film. My impressions were confirmed when I spoke to the owner of... More

I enjoyed my stay at this hotel: but remember, this is an old hotel. The floors creak, many of the bath rooms are shared, sound travels through the walls. In truth, it's slightly ramshackle. Or, another way of putting it: authentic, quirky, quaint. The owner is amiable and very helpful - and quite a character; I chatted briefly to some... More

We had booked into the usual run-of-the mill chain hotel/motel for a 2 day stay in Yuma when we discovered the magnificient Lee Hotel. Peeking through the front window and viewing the turn of the century decor, our impression was that it would be quite expensive but ventured inside to ask about availability and rates. EXTREMELY reasonable and Bob gave... More

When booking a room at Hotel Lee over the phone I was told it was one of their 'nicest' rooms. What they failed to mention was the room was adjoined to the common use hall toilet and shower. Understandably the old hotel has LOUD plumbing, and I was kept awake by frequent use of the toilet through out the night,... More

We stayed at the Hotel Lee for 2 nights & really enjoyed the atmosphere. The lobby is quite lovely as was the room we were in, although, as with most old hotels/inns, there is no elevator & the stairway is quite a climb. However, Bob, one of the owners, did insist on giving us a hand. We were impressed with... More

Bob and Linda (and Max the dog) the owners of the Lee are to be commended for rescuing a piece of Yuma's history. While there is still work to be done, the hotel is gradually returning to its former role as the place to stay in Yuma. If you are tired of staying in the chain hotels you might find... More

I was just passing throughon my way to San Diego, and ended up to tired to drive the last 200 miles. I had read about this hotel on the tripadviser site, and it was a great choice. The owners made me feel right at home. It's in Old Town, right off Giss Parkway.
