Cherry Creek Lodge is the perfect get-a-way for a quick weekend trip. The staff is exceptionally helpful and friendly and you can't beat the beauty! There is so much to do and even if you do nothing at all you feel so relaxed. This was our 3rd visit and we will return again. Thank you for a great weekend Sherry,... More

It is a beautiful place and the staff was nice. Their staff was MIA and when we arrived the meals were not set up and we had no activities while we stayed. We had to drive for to go for meals and ended up leaving early and paying double for our stay to stay at a different place where meals... More

Stacey H. We apologize for your discontent regarding your stay with us here at Cherry Creek Lodge. However, we were not notified prior to your arrival of a weight concern. For the safety of our guests and animals we unfortunately have to make a sound judgement on the horses behalf and yours. We were not understaffed and tried very much... More

It isn't often that I'm taken aback by the sense of how people live but for the folks managing the ranch I was truly amazed by the friendliness and cordiality of the people at Cherry Creek. From the moment we arrived to the end of our trip I felt as if I was visiting family and not some "B&B". Sheri... More

My 11 yr. old son and I celebrated his birthday at Cherry Creek Lodge. On our way home he said it was the best weekend of his life! We went fishing, hiking, shot clay pigeons, and went on a long trail ride looking for cattle! The team at Cherry Creek Lodge could not have been nicer. Sherri is a wonderful... More

Cherry Creek Lodge is a luxurious retreat center on a working cattle ranch located 3 hours northeast of Phoenix in the Tonto National Forest. Pristine forest surrounds the ranch. My husband and I celebrated our 20th Anniversary here. We enjoyed horseback riding, skeet shooting, and an intimate wine picnic by a beautiful creek. Lots of interesting things to see and... More

My girlfriend and I stayed at the Cherry Creek Lodge for 2 nights during the week. It was way better than we expected! Activities we chose were atv tour, horse trail riding tour, paddle boating, and a bit of hiking. The lodge managers were both hubmle and accomodating. I was even able to have a romantic evening set up with... More

I have been to the Cherry Creek Lodge many times and everyone has been very enjoyable. The staff, food, accommodations and activities are all very good. It is a place where you can sit back and enjoy the wonders of nature or stay busy hiking, fishing or horseback riding. The trip into the ranch can be part of the adventure... More

We spent just two days and one night at the Cherry Creek Lodge but which we could have stayed longer. It's location is literally "in the middle of nowhere." Getting there requires a drive of 50 miles, mainly on a somewhat rough gravel road, from either direction. Beautiful setting (in a valley surrounded by mountains). Very nice but authenic "western... We came to Cherry Creek Lodge worn out and stressed out. We left relaxed, happy and truly satisfied with our experience! We were greeted on arrival by Sherry the Lodge manager and Cory and Brittany ranch hands. Our room was cozy and perfectly clean. We stayed in the Rustlers Roost I believe it was called which is the private little... More
