This was our fourth stay at La Posada, and it is most certainly one of our top favorites. The rooms are wonderful, and dining in the Turquoise Room is an incredible treat. We tried the squash blossom appetizers for the first time - incredible!!! And the Signature Soup - the sweet corn chowder with the spice of the black bean... More

Winslow was a very different place in its heyday judging by this beautiful historic railway hotel. I didn't see anything else in Winslow that tempted me to stop but this hotel was luxurious and fascinating. The rail tracks run along the back of the hotel and the contrast between the tracks and the beautifully landscaped gardens of La Posada makes... More

La Posada is an old railroad hotel for the Santa Fe railroad, built in the 20s and 30s and then restored more recently. It's great. The gardens and grounds of the hotel are delightful and relaxing, and the hotel inside is filled with antiques and artwork; much of the artwork is produced by one of the owners and is fascinating.... This is a beautiful hotel to stay at. I was given the Shirley Temple Room and it was very comfortable and stylish. This hotel gives you the feeling of what it must have been like in the day of travel by train. They have a lot of old art and then you have the art of the female owner. Her... More

When going on our bucketlist trips and if we are in the vicinity, we always work in the La Posada. This is a restored Route 66 Railroad hotel with a rich history. It is a visual feast of featured and local artists, a lovely landscaped gardens featuring many native plant species, We arrived too late to really enjoy the grounds... More

This was our first stay here and I would recommend it. We did upgrade to a larger room with a sitting area and I'm glad we did. All encounters with the staff were excellent. They were all friendly and helpful. The grounds were lovely and the history of the hotel was interesting. We were traveling with our dog so we're... More

Hotel lobby is magnificient. Hotel rooms are small but nice. This place is a piece of early Arizona history. The restaurant in the lobby, The Turquoise Room, is outstanding. The hotel was designed by the late Mary Colter who also designed famous structures at the Grand Canyon National Park. While you're in Winslow, visit the Hopi Villages and the Meteor... More

This was my first visit and would definitely return if I had the opportunity. My daughters and I had a wonderful time wandering through the hotel, playing games in the lobby, and relaxing in the gardens. It is unusual, quirky, interesting, historical, and a gem. I was concerned that we would hear the trains at night, there are quite a... More

Lovely charming rooms, bathrooms small but that's due to old building. Clean room and nice Main building consisted of museum art gallery and restaurant/bar lots of lovely art work and beautiful gardens. Everything restored beautifully. Bar and barman was excellent, after two days in Indian reservation the sight and taste of chilled alcohol made it even better!! The restaurant in... More
