We stopped here on our way to and from our trip to Nebraska. What a beautiful old hotel, full of historic charm. The rooms are comfortable and nice; they don't have the usual coffee pot and refrigerator, but who needs one when you are staying in a place like this. We stopped here on the recommendation of a friend. We... More

I have to say, there was no sleep there. The bedding was not good, the pillows stink, literally, and the mattress may have been as old as the building. Cheapest shampoos, etc, and I never trust when towels are dies tan.

The interior is stunning and full of interesting artifacts but in terms of modern convenience it falls a little short. We're on a road trip and a fridge and microwave are really useful and you get neither here. But the beds are comfy and the room was clean. It isn't cheap, and neither is the restaurant, we didn't eat there... More

La Posada Hotel It is not just a place to stay the night. It's the experience of history, carrying within itself a childlike wonder. I arrived Early Sunday morning around the dark hours of 1am. I walked inside, feeling very sleepy and falling asleep. When I woke up, that's when it all hit me. I wasn't in a regular hotel.... More

This place is a real gem in Winslow. The building is clearly historic, but seems to have been updated with quality in mind. Each room is unique, but I noticed my room was quiet and comfortable. I noticed in the restaurant you can't really hear the trains going by, so all in all it has a nice relaxing atmosphere. Skip... More

La Posada is not just a hotel but an experience. We visited from the UK last year and knew we had to come back, hence our return visit. This time we stayed in Room 110 on the ground floor which had a door to a patio and saved carrying the cases upstairs as we did last year. It is a... More

There's not much else in Winslow except a statue and a flatbed Ford, but this hotel is one magical place. Lovingly restored and decorated with a style that I guarantee you won't see elsewhere: the quirky and thought provoking art of Tina Mion, historical photos and documents and one of a kind folk art pieces. Each room is individually decorated... More

From the moment of arrival we were treated as honored guests. Friendly, professional and helpful front desk. Room is exceptionally clean, beautifully decorated, comfortable with Jacuzzi tub and door that opens directly to patio courtyard. Room 120 on ground floor level convenient to gift shop. Common areas for hotel guests abound both indoors and out. Intimate areas to cozy up... More

On our road trip through AZ we had the pleasure of staying at the La Posada for 1 night. Wish it was longer. The staff was extremely accomdating and very professional. We has two, rooms and both were very cozy and charming. We loved learning the history of this beautiful hotel. Such a gem!

I agree wholeheartedly with another review which calls La Posada a destination in its own right. The owners have done a splendid job of restoring a brilliant piece of architecture -- the last and best of the great Santa Fe Railway / Fred Harvey hotel - restaurants. The building is gorgeous and fascinating. It doesn't look or feel like a... More
