This is a great "stopping over" point instead of trying to drive from Phoenix to the Grand Canyon in one day. We stopped in Sedona for a jeep tour, then walked Slide Rock park, and ended the day in Williams, browsing along Route 66. The room was clean, the staff friendly and helpful. In fact, I left my favorite baseball...

Clean room, center of town in the historic district. Well located for diners, stores, restaurants and bars. Thin walls - I cold here someone snoring in the next room at 3am. Breakfast was good - cereal, toast, bagels, waffles etc with coffe, tea, juice. 54 miles from the Grand Canyon along an un-scenic route. Williams is a great town to...

The room was small, the liens were not changed when we got there, the crumbs on the sheets gave it way and also found an old takeout food container under the bed! This was the only room available in town plus it was loud.

It looked very tired, but did hasve potential. It was cold the first night and when...

We went to the Grand Canyon and left around 6:00 pm. Williams is about an hour away from the park entrance on the way back to Las Vegas.
There are a few hotels/motels in Williams. We choose this for:
(1) Location - close by the highway and away from the 'down town'
(2) Price - we have a walk-in price...
