My family of 4 recently stayed here and couldn't wait to check out. We checked in to the hotel with a very friendly staff member. We were expecting a pool at this hotel, but she informed us that there used to be a pool, but it is no longer in service. Note to trip advisor: change this on your website.... More

Completely basic motel. Zero amenities, not even shampoo. My friend said it look like a motel out of some scary movie, but I thought it was fine, Staff was friendly. Beds and room were old and outdated, but exceptionally clean. I would definitely recommend.

Reservations required, this hotel was full when we got there. Many foreign tourists heading to the Grand Canyon. El Rancho was on the edge of town, which made it surprisingly quiet. It's a classic Route 66 hotel, in a Classic Route 66 town, although it is the worst looking hotel in the daylight. The lady at the desk was fantastic,... More

Clean motel, short walk from Williams centre. If you want a basic, cheap place to stay, the El Rancho fits the bill. The staff are friendly, decent area for parking, easy access to the Grand Canyon Railway which is about a 10 minute walk away. Wi-if was hit and miss.

We had a last minute reservation here on 3/30 and the front desk was really helpful and friendly - this is a classic roadside motel and even has buzzing neon lights like you would see in a movie - it was neat and clean and quiet - nothing fancy and seemed like a good deal at $64.

I'm not actually reviewing the hotel because I didn't get a chance to stay there, I just wanted to update everyone. The El Rancho motel is not pet friendly. I had planned on staying there because online it says pet friendly, but after driving for 22 hours, found that the front desk said not pet friendly. I then found out... More

Stayed in Williams to see the Grand Canyon (about 50 miles). Drove through the nostalgic strip of motels, shops, coffee shops and restaurants to find this one at the end of it. Glad we inquired. It's quiet, clean although a little outdated with hard beds but a bargain at $46 a night including tax. American owned. The owner is very... More

Great location in Williams, which is a lovely town that still has that route 66 feel, only an hour from the Grand Canyon. The room was clean, front desk staff were helpful. The air conditioning wasn't particularly useful, but it wasn't anything major. In all it was a perfectly comfortable two days spent here.

Stayed here 2 nights while visiting the Canyon. Sits on the edge of town and is quiet. Very accommodating lady at front desk. Very clean. Only complaint was the mattresses were hard. Would stay here again though. Great bargain.

We checked into around 5pm and were greeted by a friendly face. Our room was pretty basic but it did the trick. It was sub-zero temperatures overnight but the heating worked fine. The wifi didn't work while we were there... But it was in the mountains so I needed to realign my expectations! Note that the TV works on channel... More
