Stayed at the El Rancho one night July 19 while touring the Grand Canyon. Old Motel, but clean, served it purpose for my wife and I. Easy check in, kind of a throw back to the 60's when I was a kid. Easy drive north to the canyon, leave early in the morning to beat the July traffic. Williams has... More

It's not the Ritz but was clean and comfortable. Kind of over priced, but we found everywhere in Williams to be somewhat of a tourist trap (over priced). The manager was very nice and very helpful. The room was very clean but a little outdated. The only real issue was the water pressure. Water actually stopped in middle of shower.... More

Classic Route 66 motel in historic Williams AZ replete with neon sign! The room was very comfortable and the host quite helpful. One of the best values in the Gateway to the Grand Canyon! Excellent travel value and very helpful staff and owners! Located at the eastern end of the historic strip, the El Rancho was amazingly quiet yet close... More

We booked the family room including two bedrooms and one bathroom. Overall, the hotel is nice, a bit old though. Clean and well furnished (towels, fridge, microwave, coffee maker). Close to supermarket and coffee shops/restaurants. For hikers who spend their day outside, and who just want a hotel to sleep, this hotel is perfect.

Last minute booking. Owner was very friendly, gave us some tips for dinner and some muffins for breakfast. Stayed in family room, enough space for 4 people. Bathroom could be bigger though. Excellent location. Little bit older, but cosy and clean.

the bed was like a circus trampoline as a few well-worn wires and a bit of fluff on top passed as a mattress...the "carpet" was sticky with foot disease and funk...had to wear socks to avoid contact...the bathroom door did not close....the drain pipe was missing providing a "hillbily shower" to everyone trying to get through the parking lot...at $60/nite... We (5) stayed for two nights in a family suite with separate bedroom. The room was a bit tight to move around, but satisfactory. The hotel owner was very friendly and helpful (giving us dinner coupons and recommending to go see the nightly gun fight). The hotel is a little far to the restaurants in town to walk if you... More

We stayed in the family suite, which had 3 beds. The rooms was nice, if dated. The beds which is really what we wanted were so so, with at least one bed still having plastic on the mattress. Other then that it was nice. The town itself was nice as well, a little on the touristy side, but nice.
