We stayed here as a pitstop for the Grand Canyon. Rooms were immaculate, large, and beds were super comfy, as well as good pillows and lots of them! Hotel staff is friendly and helpful - recommended places to eat. We left to go to the Painted Desert, and stopped back at this hotel on our way back to Vegas because... more

I knew what I was expecting when I reserved a room from Rodeway after reading the reviews from others, and, yes, it is all true. I checked in an hour after closing time and the staff was sweet enough to wait around for me. The girl running the hotel said that she had a couple checking in at 4 a.m.... more

If you only need a place to rest your head and have a hot shower.. oh wait.. I remember now.. our shower didn't have hot water..hha..I now remember using cups/glasses of hot water from the sink to take a hot shower... but it could have been our room. Having said that, We were still happy with the room because it... more

Booked this hotel as a base from which to see the Grand Canyon not realising that a) we could have stayed in Tusayan, which is about 5 miles south of the park, rather than here, which is 55 miles south or b) we could have travelled a bit further and stayed in Flagstaff which is MUCH more interesting. However, this... more

I haven't stayed in a motel in decades but this one pleasantly surprised us. There are two hotels, we were at the Downtowner, across the street from the office. Don't let the appearance fool you, inside the rooms are nicely renovated and SUPER clean. While it lacks the ammenities of a nicer hotel (pool, gym, etc) the actual rooms are... more

The rooms at the Rodeway are furnished in a modern style with lots of cushions on the bed. Very clean throughout, and a good central location. The only gripe was that at night, even with the heating on, it was cold in the room - but then it was very cold outside overnight. Front desk friendly. more

The reviews I read on here prompted me to book a room. Overall, both my bf and I were very pleased with this room. The newly remodeld modern decor was a nice touch, and it was clean! The staff was very helpful, and friendly. We got to spend some time talking with the owner's sister, while he was away for... more

We stayed at the Downtowner, across the street from the office. From the outside, this place looks like an average motel. But when you go inside, you'd be pleasantly surprised. The room and bathroom are small, but clean and well appointed. Our room has a king-size canopy bed, fairely comfortable. The bathroom has been renovated too. One reviewer mentioned about... more

This place was a jewel in disguise. It looks like an older drive-up motel from the 60's from the outside. Apparently there are 2 sections to the hotel separated by the mail road through Williams. My room was across the street from the office, in the section where the "Down Towner" sign is. Maybe the other reviews were from rooms... more

Stayed at the motel with my partner for 1 night en route to the Grand Canyon and really enjoyed our (short) stay). Chose the hotel based on Tripadvisor reviews and also due to the fact that the Grand Canyon Railway Hotel couldn't be booked that night without also booking the train to Grand Canyon. We were taking the Open Road... more
