We booked two nights at the Downtowner Motel in Williams, AZ, to visit the Grand Canyon. Seemed like the ads made it out to be more than it was. The owners have redecorated the rooms, but they remained the small motel style rooms that were built more than 50 years ago. The beds, linens, carpet, tile and plumbing were all... More

It was my first motel stay. we had been up to the Grand canyon and all of the lodges were full. In a panic we drove out and tried places along the way. eventually I got onto trip advisor and called the Rodeway Inn. The wonderful woman on the desk stayed open late to wait for us to arrive. The... More

After seeing a lot of terrible Motels along the Route 66 having travelled from Chicago, this has got to be the best so far! Location was perfect, within easy walking distance of shops and restaurants etc, but away from the hustle and bustle so that you get a good nights sleep!! Looks like it has recently been refurbished, no expense... More

We were on our way back to Las Vegas when we decided to stay here rather than in a hotel in Flagstaff. Just like other reviewers, we were unsure about our decision until we unlocked the door to a lovely room. Very clean, well equipped and modern. Plenty of room for a one night stay, and well placed to explore... More

The room was amazing and the staff was very friendly. The breakfast was spectacular and included eggs, sausage, waffles and a whole lot more. Couldn't ask for more, BEST motel on Route 66. Can't wait to come back to visit The Grand Canyon again and stay at this world class motel.

This is a very old property that has been nicely kept up and remodeled. Our room had a king bed that pretty much took up the whole room. There was three feet of space between the bed and walls on two sides and four feet on the window side. There was a chair, no table to set things on, barely... More

First let's start by saying never judge a book by its cover. Pulled up building didn't look 4 star material. Checked in with Von I belive and he was very helpful suggested a great restaurant for dinner. Opend the door to the room and fell in love. You get your money's worth. Comfortable beds clean everything. Just all around great... More

This was such a lovely stop on our road trip. Audrey welcome us ana was so friendly, informative and efficient. The rooms were lovely- we him had 4. The double bed room were a good size, beautifully furnished and decorated with very comfy bed and good quality towels and sheets. The double queen bed suite (113) had a small area... More

To be honest, we would have provably driven right by this place, but based on reviews, we just made a reservation prior to our trip. I got a little nervous at first, but quickly calmed down upon seeing how clean the exterior is, and how they are working to keep up with modern decor. Upon entering our two-room suite, I... More

This was a great place to stay. Old school "motel" drive up and park outside of your room. Very clean. The room was nicely decorated and had 2 individual bedrooms each with their own full bathroom. The beds were very nice and comfortable and the bathrooms were also very nice with granite counter tops and nice updated fixtures. The room... More
