Like others I thought this would be a Rodeway Inn with a good price which is rare anywhere near a national park. Well oh boy was I wrong - so much more. We pulled in and the grounds were very nicely decorated in country / western decor - it is an old route 66 motor lodge. The owners own two... More

I'm very picky about cleanliness in hotel rooms, and this is probably the cleanest room we've had in years. People do need to be aware though, that this is an older building--a former "motor lodge", and as such, the rooms are smaller than what you get in more modern buildings. Not a problem for us, as we don't spend much... More

Found this motel on the internet by checking previous reviews. So, I decided to stay a night while visiting Grand Canyon. The clerks were friendly. The room was small but very clean with updated fixtures. Cleanliness is a requirement for me and my wife. The breakfast was a surprise with scrambled eggs and sausage, along with waffles, and fresh orange... More

Stayed here again and it was just as nice as the first time! At check in Audrey was welcoming and super friendly! Breakfast was very good. Rooms are great. Williams was a charming town and is a perfect place to stay for a visit to the Grand Canyon.

We stayed at the Rodeway Inn Downtower on our way to the Grand Canyon. We drove straight from Los Angeles and figured that we would arrive in the evening (6.5 hr drive) and then head to the Grand Canon in the morning. Customer tip: For whatever reason, Google Maps will not direct you to the hotel. As we were nearing... More

We came across this place quite by accident. Our originally booked hotel had no water. We arrived and Vaughan was very friendly and welcoming. There are no "upscale" hotels in Williams - it's more a small town than a city. This appears to be spread over two locations, one across the street (Route 66!) from the other. Big, clean rooms.... This place is surprisingly AMAZING!!! When you think of old drive in motels you do not think of this place!!! The service was OUTSTANDING! The atmosphere of the rooms is to die for! The beds were the most comfortable beds I had stayed in all week! Breakfast in the morning was delish! There is a outdoor seating area that is... More

A couple of friends and I stayed here for two nights while visiting the Grand Canyon. We were pleasantly surprised. I asked for two beds and we got two separate bedrooms and bathrooms. The rooms were clean and the beds were comfortable. There was also a mini fridge and coffee maker in the room. Hot breakfast is served across the... More

Stayed two nights here during a Grand Canyon visit. For Williams, I can't imagine doing any better than this place. Let me say that Williams does NOT have even a semi-upscale hotel. No Best Western, Hilton Garden Inn, Four Points Sheraton, etc. They're all roadside motels and this one is likely the best! Biggest reason for me saying this was... More

The hotel was our first stop on Route 66 and we were not disappointed. On arrival the young man who checked us in was very friendly and helpful. Our room had a quaint oldie worldly feel to it including a four poster bed !! .It was clean and comfortable and had everything you need for an enjoyable stay. We loved... More
