We picked the dead of winter (Dec 26 to Dec 30, 2006) to try out the brand new Grand Canyon Railroad RV Resort. Even with 2 winter snowstorms hitting us during our 4 day stay, we enjoyed ourselves immensely. The park is laid out well. The streets are easy to negotiate with long RVs.
