I visited the Grand Canyon and all other canyons I could while visiting Arizona state. I drove more than 2,000 miles in this 8 day tour and decided to stay in a different hotel each day.. I did choice Grand Canyon Hotel because I am always looking for different experiences. I am NOT the kind of visitor who waste his... More

This is the oldest hotel still in operation in Arizona. On Route 66 beautiful location. The owners run the hotel and go out of their way to welcome you. We highly recommend this place and hope to be back many times.

We stayed one night at the Grand Canyon Hotel after visiting the Grand Canyon. The hotel was very cute, the staff was wonderful. The rooms are small as stated in previous reviews, that did make things a bit difficult with the luggage as there was no closet at all. The bedding was old and worn and could really, really use... Firstly, right off the bat, don't expect this hotel to be like all the other regular "business traveller" hotels you'll stay in. It isn't. The Grand Canyon Hotel is, in my experience, quite unique. Forget about air conditioning. Forget about en suite. Forget about 200 channel wide screen TVs. You won't find any of that here! What you will find... More

Upon our arrival we were greeted with a friendly smile and were encouraged to go see a couple of rooms to choose which one we wanted. There are rooms facing the street and rooms in the back. While the rooms in the front are probably noisier, we found the rooms in the back a bit dark. Each room is unique... More

Was planning a 1 night stay based on reviews & the pictures (mostly positive, appear to be edited). Got to the Grand Canyon Hotel in Williams, friendly greeting upon entry, but the room we were shown was not what was shown on the website. Community fridge only, had a diabetic who needed to store insulin... not comfortable with that thought.... More

My wife and I stayed here for two nights and took the train to the GFrand Canyon. Don't be fooled by the poor reviews of this property as some of them are obviously for a different property....not this one. It is a historic hotel and as such is very quaint and fun to explore. Don't expec modern large rooms with... More

My boyfriend and I stayed her for two nights while visiting The Grand Canyon. It was a gorgeous building and we were greeted by a lovely woman who showed us around the common areas. The best part was she gave us a list of rooms and told us to pick one! We reserved a private room and this was so... More

Stayed here for two nights while visiting the nearby Grand Canyon. I really enjoyed the property and the surrounding area, which is more lively than I expected from such a small town. Staff was extremely nice and helpful.. I like the whole "choose which room you want" procedure that they have. It was fun to see the available rooms.. some... More

Arrived around 1:30pm and i directly get kicked out of the hotel lobby with the words: "Checkin after 3pm get out!" This was the worst welcome ever in a Hotel and i visited a lot of them on my world trip. Because auf this reason i skipped my stay there immediately. Stay in at any other Hotel but not there... More
