My husband and I stayed at the Grand Canyon Hotel as part of a 2-night package we purchased to take the train to the south rim, a bus tour, and a train back with 2 breakfasts and 2 dinners included. We upgraded to a "deluxe" room, and it certainly wasn't worth it. This hotel is good and perfect for families... More

You will need to check out the website carefully to pick your room, as they are all different, but we stayed in one of the two Carriage House rooms/suites, and it was fabulous! Our room had a king bed and a futon (in the same room) and then a gorgeous bathroom (complete with huge jacuzzi tub and chandelier and route... More

OK so this hotel is NOT a chain, which we really loved. It is a very charming hotel with only a handful of rooms. The owner and her staff are simply amazing. They are friendly and kind and knowledgeable. We honestly felt warmly welcomed to be staying there. In some ways this hotel was the highlight of our stay. NOTE:... More

If you want a change from the average, you are right here. They did a wonderful job redesigning this place to look as if a cowboys and 19th century ladies could share it with you, every room is unique and every room is wonderful. It is not high on luxury exactly but very high on atmosphere and coziness, our room... More

I love history and so being able to stay in an establishment that was built in 1891 was perfect. Our room was comfortable with a lovely old bed and a claw-foot bath. The rooms are cosy and due to the age of the property the floors can be a little squeaky and your neighbours feel close. There are no TVs... More

A great welcome, and a really nice touch allowing you to choose your own room from those available. I had room 11, the boudoir, and it was cosy and had everything needed. It's a lovely atmosphere and historically interesting, staying there is a experience I would recommend to anyone.

Great place to stay for a couple of nights comfy and clean if little dated. We had an internal room and the fan in the bathroom was very loud. The guys working here are welcoming and helpful and you could do worse then stay in Williams which is a charming town and great for a couple of days stay. Of... More

Nice little hotel, with superfriendly staff. You can pick your room: up on arrival you can have a look at all available room and pick the one you like best. Every room has its own theme. It's a historic hotel in a historic small town, located on the route 66. Don't expect too much comfort, but just a nice place... More

A very cool place if you like really old hotels but it's not for everyone, know yourself and everyone you're going with. Because it is a historic hotel, you may not find amenities that are in "normal" hotel rooms like a tv, which may bother some. When we got there we were allowed upstairs to pick our own room. The... The hotel is centrally located on the main drag of historic Williams, Arizona. As we usually try and stay in small, independent hotels, we chose the Grand Canyon Hotel over many others in town. I've stayed in historic hotels before, so wasn't expecting anything fancy. One of the owners, Amy, greeted us and gave us the choice of rooms on... More
