We had a great time here. The Lodge is in a perfect location and Williams is a fantastic place. We initially had a small room, but asked to move and the girl in reception sorted us out for only a small additional fee. The room was very clean and well furnished. Having breakfast out under the canopy is pretty cool... More

After determining to do things on the cheap in the US & have more money to eat well my mum, dad & I arrived late afternoon in williams - very nice little town - chosen for it's location (1hr drive to grand canyon & 1hr to sedona). we scooted around looking at some of the other motels in town, which... Spent one night here on the way to Eastern Arizona and now wish I had been in Williams longer. This place is a fantastic stop on Route 66. A very nicely appointed hotel with beautifully furnished rooms and very comfortable beds. The space is a bit tight (no real closet space to store luggage, etc.), but what it lacks is... More

We booked the "Downtowner Inn" first via CHOICE online. Arriving there we were a little disappointed regarding the offered room. Without any hesitation we were offered a Suite at the other side of the street at "The Lodge", operated by the same owner. Very kind service! We immediately loved the room, the space, the style and the relaxed atmosphere. Have... More

My cousin and i were driving Route 66 on our way cross country from LA to Pittsburgh. The Lodge was our first stop out of LA. Rob, the owner, was very nice and accomodating. He helped us to chose a restaurant for dinner and the next day, he truly went above and beyond by helping us to secure the tarp... More

My girlfriend and I stayed one night before taking the Grand Canyon Railway the following morning (also a worthwhile stop in Williams!). We arrived at around 9pm after a long drive from Phoenix, AZ. The gentleman on the desk was very pleasant and quick to check us in. We had pre-booked our room months ahead of time and got a... More

We stayed here for one night end of march 2009. It was an extremely enjoyable stay. The owner very friendly and supportive with informations about restaurants etc.. The rooms are decorated very tastefully and are very clean. The bed was just perfect. We had the best sleep during our trip here.

We stayed here for one night in October of '08. We had room #5-"Seligman"- which has a single queen bed. When you compare it to a chain motel, the room could be considered small, but it was still PLENTY big for two people, decorated in a "Pottery Barn" style, and was very clean. The bathroom, which IS of good size, was... More

We found this hotel online, and chose it for the location. The information on the site had said it was renovated, and photos showed the rooms. I have to say in all the travelling I have done, this room was one of the absolute nicest I've ever stayed in. I've never taken the time to submit a review on any... More

Positives: Friendly front office staff. Clean room/bathroom. Spacious room with 2 double beds and a pull out couch. Easy to find location and relatively close to the Grand Canyon. Not so postives: Had issue with shower initially, but was resolved. We had to leave by 6 am, so were not able to get breakfast. Early option not offered. Over priced.
