We stayed at The Lodge 3 years ago and decided to try it again after comparing other hotels. We had only booked one night and decided prior to arriving that we would like a two night stay. They were more than accomodating changing our booking. Also, we had booked a double queen room but after viewing it we decided to... More

The Lodge on Route 66 is GREAT! We stayed in Room #1 Santa Monica which is a King Suite in early April 2012 as our headquarters for 2 days of Grand Canyon visits. (First day we went with Marvelous Marv and second day on the train- both great!). Our suite is 2 separate rooms with a sleeper sofa, 2 chairs,... More

Everything seemed nice... Big bed, clean room, new feel. However we just didn't sleep well. Don't know if the hotel is to blame as it was a one night stop. We stayed here and drove to the grand canyon, an hour long drive. Williams is a nice little route 66 town and you can walk anywhere from the lodge. We... More

We stayed at The Lodge last night and oh, my I did not want to get out of the bed this morning. The entire hotel was gutted, all new wiring and all new plumbing was put in. Ceramic tile bathroom, carpeted bedroom and so tastefully decorated. The rooms are small at first glance, but then you realize you have plenty... More

We stayed here two nights for our visit to the grand canyon. The Lodge is a very nice place with a lot of atmosphere. The room was, however small, clean and gave us everything we needed for our stay. In front of the lobby there are nice couches to sit and relax. We sat there our first night and really... More

The Lodge has some of the positive features as described by others, but next time we would definitely choose another hotel in the area. I think we got caught in a TripAdviser review trap. We stayed here (Williams) as a stopover between Grand Canyon and Las Vegas. Positives: homelike feel and nice theme to rooms/hotel, fluffy towels, easy parking (it's... More

Spent one night there after visiting the Grand Canyon that day. Made to feel welcome from the moment we arrived. Stayed in a King Suite and it is probably the most relaxing, comfortable room we have ever stayed in. Breakfast was suffucuent the next morning. If we pass through Williams again, we will stay and we will make sure we... More

We wanted a nice place to stay in Williams where we booked a train ride on the Grand Canyon Railway the next day. We flew into Phoenix the night before and stayed near the airport. Boy was that a disaster. We stayed in a standard double queen room at a standard airport hotel and our 2 yrs old could not... More

We stayed here two nights, as we were getting the Grand Canyon Railway, and it was perfect. We had a king suite and it was clean and warm with plenty of space and the comfiest bed. The suite was really well equipped and we wanted for nothing. They provide masses of fluffy towels too unlike many so called five stars... More

We stayed in this hotel after riding the Grand Canyon Railway and wished we didn't have to leave in the morning! We stayed in a queen suite which had a small sitting room and small dining area with fridge and microwave. The room was very clean and there was enough space for my 20 month old son to play without... More
