We stayed at the Lodge on our way to the Grand Canyon. We decided to take the Grand Canyon Railway rather than actually drive to the Canyon itself. From Lowell Observatory in Flagstaff, it did not take us much more than an hour to get there. When we arrived around 8PM, there was a very helpful young woman who provided... More

One of the highest points of our trip to US east coast (LA, Grand Canyon, Vegas, Yosemite and SF) was the night we spent on this charming and unique motel. We used Williams as a stop from Los Angeles to Grand Canyon and it worth the visit at all. The city is kind of lost in the middle of the... More

We loved our stay! The place looks like a 1950's motor lodge with a mission style flair. The owner checked us in and handed us our room key, yes, it was an actual key! The room was small but cozy, well appointed, and updated. It had the warmth and charm of an older room with the modern finishes that made... More

We stayed here during our Las Vegas trip as a way to break up Vegas a bit and to see the Grand Canyon. Williams is a very cute little town and they had a gun fight show on the main street. Although the rooms are small, we thought they were very nicely appointed and just fine to fit our needs.... More

Williams is a really small town and this was an excellent small hotel. I believe it is one of the pricier choices, but you get what you pay for here. We had a double queen room, decorated in the rustic decor. Everything was clean, new beds and the heater worked so well that we had to turn it down during... More

Yes, the outside appearance is so deceiving. We stayed in the Kingman suite and it was so sweet. The room was so clean, quiet and comfortable and the furniture was not the shabby hotel furniture you often see. The staff was wonderful and so pleasant. The price was great too More

We live in California & decided last minute to go on a road trip to the Grand Canyon. We had heard about Williams for other friends/family, so we decided to spend a night there. We booked The Lodge On Route 66 - it was so cosy we stayed the an extra night. It is warm, quiet (the walls a solid... More

I stayed at The Lodge On Route 66 during August, 2011. Upon arrival I was greeted by a friendly receptionist who had all the details of my stay prepared. I was promptly given my room key and headed over to the room with my woman. At first glance, the property exterior and its doors might not be visually appeasing to... More
