We booked in we thought to the Grand Canyon Inn but they switched us to the Grand Canyon motel which when we read the fine print they were able to do. We paid close to $200 for a room. The Grand Canyon motel had a large sign proudly advertising "Rooms from $49" which was probably more than they were worth.... More

I thought about giving this place one star, but I decided a 1 star should be reserved for places that are really intolerable, which this place wasn't. Also, the high price just reflected demand for lodging near Grand Canyon. So why was it poor? Well, for starters, the high price. We paid twice what the hotel was worth because it... More

Our rooms were clean and updated. The lounge for evening drinks was a nice atmosphere! Restaurant served greay food and good prices. All the staff was friendly. I love that it is family owned. We highly recommend! Glad we chose this over a "franchise" in the next town. The atmophere was nice with western character!

When we first checked-in, we were assigned one room at the Inn and one room at the Motel a 1/4 mile drive down the road. This was not satisfactory, so the front desk changed it so both rooms would be at the Inn for the same price. (Just a heads-up if you book through a third-party booking website!) The room... More

I've stayed here twice when Tusayan rates have given me sticker shock. The location is great. The facility and service are fine for the rate. If you want the El Tovar, it's 30 miles north for far more $$$. I'd rather stay here and save my money. It's best as a staging area for a Grand Canyon adventure -- a... More

The Grand Canyon is an expensive place to stay. You have to budget £100 anywhere vaguely close in high season. Given this fact, and the fact we are travelling for a year, it's important to realise that this will just be a pricey but very worthwhile choice. The hotel is 30 mins from the main gate, 45mins from Bright Angel... More

I was trying to save a few dollars during a 10 day Arizona vacation. I read the reviews on the inn and decided that since we would be hiking and busy both days we were here, it would he OK enough to stay here. Room is OK, some parts remodeled and bed soft and comfy. Mini fridge, free ice and... More

Quite expensive place to stay and the decour in the room could do with some serious work. Wi-fi was also very slow in the evening verging on being unusable. Very noisy plumbing so if someone flushes the loo in another room the pipework makes a scary groaning noise - bring along your earplugs! The attached restuarant was not too bad.... More

Situated in a very small town,Valle, but only 30 miles from the Grand Canyon. Lovely to have some quiet time after our stay in Vegas! Our room was all that we needed, warm and very comfortable. Great store a short walk away, sold everything, fabulous old cars on display out front and the Flintstones across the road. Definitely recommend staying... More

We stayed here because it was the only one motel available when we booked. It is in the middle of nothing, between Grand Canyon National park and Williams. I suggest to stay in Williams, absolutely! Our room was tiny, uncomfortable, without a chair or something to put our stuff on. The mattress was droopy in the middle. We slept very... More
