Booked this hotel through Expedia thinking it would be fun to stay in an old Rt. 66 Motel. We were excited to spend the evening in the town of Williams but on the day of our check in we had some unforseen delays. We called the hotel at 9:00 P.M. to let them know we were on our way but... More

Arrived in Williams with no reservations, only a coupon book we picked up in Kingman, and hoping to find something for less than $100. Checked the places with coupons and was told with varying degrees of rudeness that there were no coupon rooms left. We set about checking all the motels we could find, but were turned off by rudeness... More

This may not be the fanciest place you ever stay in, but let me tell you, it is worth staying at for the hospitality alone. You will not meet a more helpful, informative person in this town on how to make your canyon visit a success.

We are the kind of people who would rather support independent local owners than big chain hotels/motels. This place is a historic landmark. The oldest motel in Williams. Walking distance to EVERYTHING! And right on historic Route 66! But the rooms are all brand new! Super clean! Wood floors, microwaves and small, quiet running fridges for your leftovers. The beds... I had read reviews of the Grand Motel in Williams, and I'm here to say, that it really is a lovely historical gem. Rich, the owner, is extremely helpful with dining and knowledgeable about the entire Grand Canyon area. He recommended stopping at several places and showed us a map with routes and driving times. How cool is that? The... More

STAY AWAY from this motel if you can! The owner is a Liar! I booked this motel with the owner "Richard" about one month ago before my arrival. I told him my parents and I were going to have a graduation trip to the West; we planned to fly to Phoenix from D.C first, then pick up the car at... More

This is a small quaint motel that takes you back to the Route 66 era. No frills but definitely worth a night's stay. VERY clean, a comfortable bed and a great shower (good water pressure, a must for me). Richard, who is the owner could not have been more welcoming. A gracious host! Once we were checked in he walked... More

We actually didn't make it to the motel due to unforeseen car trouble outside of Peach Springs and two tows to get our car to Flagstaff for repair. The owners made an exception to their cancellation policy due to our inability to arrive when expected and I greatly appreciate their customer service. We'll plan a trip back to the area... More

My husband and I stayed here for one night as part of our trip out to the Grand Canyon . I love the fact that the owners are trying to bring this motel back to its original Route 66 glory. At check in he was very knowledgable about the hotel history and how him and his wife want to restore... More

My husband really enjoyed meeting and talking the owner: great suggestions on what to do and where to eat. The room was über clean and functional...think we would have loved to have a small chair in our room but other than that, a great homey little motel. Kiddos to their renovation project!!
