I stayed at the motel for one evening at the beginning of a snow storm -- seems to be well run. I would recommend it. very convenient to downtown and walking distance to restaurants and bars etc. Easy access to the interstate from motel.

thoroughly enjoyed my 2 night stay at the Grand motel. Rich, the owner was very welcoming, helpful and friendly. Room was SPOTLESSLY clean with new bed and linen, air con, mini fridge, microwave etc. It was very comfortable and, even though it was on main street/rte 66, it was very quiet. Everything you could want was within an easy walk... More

My daughter, grandson and I decided to go and see Bearizona. The Grand was a fun and quirky place to stay. Staff was very friendly and helpful. We stayed in caboose #2 and it was an added bonus to have the playground so close.

The motel is a quaint little place, no real frills, just a room, bed, frig, microwave, and tv, All you need to spend a few night while taking in the canyon, If your a person who thinks the world should be handed to them, and can't live simply stay away, this is a peaceful no frills place. Booked this hotel through Expedia thinking it would be fun to stay in an old Rt. 66 Motel. We were excited to spend the evening in the town of Williams but on the day of our check in we had some unforseen delays. We called the hotel at 9:00 P.M. to let them know we were on our way but... More

Arrived in Williams with no reservations, only a coupon book we picked up in Kingman, and hoping to find something for less than $100. Checked the places with coupons and was told with varying degrees of rudeness that there were no coupon rooms left. We set about checking all the motels we could find, but were turned off by rudeness... More

This may not be the fanciest place you ever stay in, but let me tell you, it is worth staying at for the hospitality alone. You will not meet a more helpful, informative person in this town on how to make your canyon visit a success.

We are the kind of people who would rather support independent local owners than big chain hotels/motels. This place is a historic landmark. The oldest motel in Williams. Walking distance to EVERYTHING! And right on historic Route 66! But the rooms are all brand new! Super clean! Wood floors, microwaves and small, quiet running fridges for your leftovers. The beds... I had read reviews of the Grand Motel in Williams, and I'm here to say, that it really is a lovely historical gem. Rich, the owner, is extremely helpful with dining and knowledgeable about the entire Grand Canyon area. He recommended stopping at several places and showed us a map with routes and driving times. How cool is that? The... More
