We stay in this campground several times during the summer months as we get away from the heat in the valley. They put in new rest rooms in the upper area in 2008 so that made it much better. We always stay in the upper campground as there is less traffic there and the camp hosts keep the spaces clean.... More

We had a company camp out where we had an entire group site. I was a little nervous after reading the reviews of the grounds, but once I arrived I was no longer feeling anxious. First of all, the previous reviews were 4 years ago, and much has changed. The facilities have drinking water and vault bathrooms. I was concerned... More

We visited Kaibab lake on the way to the Grand Canyon.It was a beautiful ,quite place.A serene lake .A few people here and there were fishing.A good place for taking pictures ,an on-the-way lunch ,a quite relaxing nap . Drove through the campground after leaving Grand Canyon, and spent a couple hours. The lake is down at least half....severe drought in the area. The pit toilets are a little gross, unless your'e used to roughing it. It was tough on the women with us. More
