Perfect place to stay. Inn is really clean and so original, we felt like we're back in time or in a Lucky Luke movie. Hosts are greats and they help you to plan your trip in the area. Breakfast are okay. The B & B is well situated. P.S. Try the mexican restaurant next the B & B. more

What a wonderful choice, a really interesting place. I had heard about the ghosts and was a bit apprehensive, but didn't see any luckily. The room was really interesting. John the owner was very pleasant and told us lots of local history stories over breakfast. Which was also nice. This was a great location for the grand canyon. Lots of... more

If you like trains then this is a good location to be near them! The rail line is just across the parking lot from the room that we had at the front of the building, you can see the freight trains going through and over the level crossing! The Grand Canyon railway also runs from a few hundred metres from... more

We arrived in Williams on an unusually rainy day in August, aware that we couldn't check in until 4pm (most of Williams takes a Siesta bizarrely) we wandered around the few open shops, a cute gift shop run by a Brit selling imported British tat, just what you need when you've travelled all that way from the UK! And a... more

Stayed at Red Garter for 1 night whilst visiting Williams and Grand Canyon. Had read some good reports about this Bed and Bakery and thought we would give it a go. Our room was the Big Bertha room which looks out to the rear of the property, it had two double beds, Satellite Tv and a bathroom with a Rolltop... more

We have recently returned to the UK after touring California. We stayed at the Red Garter Inn in Williams AZ, for three nights. As their web site states, the property was originally a bordello and has been renovated and decorated in that theme. Hence our room was called the "best gal's room" The room was very well laid out, with... more

Williams is the ideal stop-over between The Grand Canyon and Las Vegas. There are plenty of options for B&B's here in Williams but if you want a real place with genuine authentic character and feel, I recommend The Red Garter. John (the owner) and his handful of staff are friendly and welcoming and the breakfasts are delightful. If you want... more

This is a real neat place that has an AWESOME staff. We stayed in the Parlor room and you could feel the history all around you. In the morning we were greeted by John, the owner, who served up some of the morning's GREAT pastries and a nice cup of coffee. He took time to tell all the guests the... more

We rode into Williams after a day riding through Grand Canyon. Our trip had been going on for a while and our funds were running low, but when we saw the building, we walked in & took rooms without hesitations and it was worth it even so there may be cheaper motels/hotels in town. It's a neat idea to combine... more

We picked the Red Garter as it seemed a fun and unusual place to stay - it didn't disappoint us. John was the perfect host helping us with what we could see and do in the area and chatting to us about anything. Debra was great as well serving up breakfast to keep us going throughout the day, afternoon tea... more
