First I would like to say that unfortunately there are a lot of bad reviews on this hotel so I was skeptical, but when I arrived and toured the room I was assigned I was pleasantly surprised. The beds are firm and the linens are outdated. BUT, it is an old hotel and yes it needs some touch ups here... More

We knew it was not going to be the top spot of our Route 66 vacation, but it was the only thing we could find with availability for our needed date. From our 'greeting' in the office, when the clerk snatched away our first room key and said it was switched because "oh I forgot- that room isn't fit to... More

the outside needed a lot of work but considering this was the only place open we wasn't picky, we walked into the room which smelled musty, The lock on the door was broke and the windows would not close without 1 person forcing it shut from the outside while someone forced the lock on the inside. the Air Conditioner was... It is only here to support Grand Canyon NP visitors. The good thing is that it cuts 30 minutes from the drive up to the NP. Terrible "free" breakfast, rooms are somewhat dirty and well used; minimal cable TV which didn't work particularly well. Room did have a microwave and refrigerator which were useful. It really needs renovation. A hotel... More

We stayed at the Mountain Side Inn in Williams Az for a weekend. We had a great time at Bearazonia and the Grand Canyon. The motel was awful. Upon checking in, we were slightly leary, because it appeared to be ran down. We stayed because no other places had vacancies for both nights we needed. The room was very outdated,... More

-Sleep on plywood -Use pillows that smell like dirt -Stand and watch the spa after you press the button and it burps and nothing more -Pose in front of an authentic Japanese old west covered wagon -Listen to the front desk lady lady explain that they can charge just about any amount and tourists will pay -Tape an antenna to... It is the cheapest place in town, which is what we need, because we are just trying to sleep, not throw away money. The grounds were a bit shabby but the rooms were good, like any other place. The breakfast was superb. Besides the regular waffles and cereal, they had great egg sandwiches to beat McDonalds.

Stayed for 2 nights. Decision was priced based. Rooms are on the large size. Bed was ok, but the extra blanket was not very warm. Old type tv, no flat screen here. Breakfast just ok. Area is quiet. Plenty of parking. Staff ok.

The staff was friendly and it was a place to stay for the night, but it was run down and dingy. The room rate was cheap, though. We didn't stay for the free breakfast, and I actually didn't want to eat anything there.
