This is the finest hotel in WIlliams, AZ but it is huge and spread out, the restaurant is not attached. The rooms are dated, with not enough electrical outlets, I think there were 2 outlets in the room. You will need a map to find your room.

Think motel 6 with a train (Tourist trap for sure)..... The line to check in was extremely long--if you check in around 5-6pm you will be in line for an hour. The food included with the hotel is ok, not great. Again this was way overpriced. You can do much better going to the local restaurants and staying at some... More

A neighbor of ours had told us about the Grand Canyon train trip from Williams to the south rim of the GC so we thought we would give it a try. Williams is a cute small town on the old Route 66 and the railroad and station are the big draw in town. The hotel is clean and welcoming. We... More

I wanted a unique destination for my family. It was unique only because of the interesting restaurants in Williams. But we never got out from any place under &100.00 ( family of 5) including the restaurant on the hotel premises. The hotel nickel and dimed us to death. Each meal was a buffet and dinner was $22 per person and... More

Stayed one night with 2 adults and 2 teenagers. Add on the train and fees and we spent $430. Seemed a little expensive when driving here from Las Vegas, but it was part of the "full experience" of going to the Canyon. Hotel was very clean and nice. Friendly staff. Keurig and a couple of free pods in the room.... More

This is a decent hotel with a rambling and confusing floor plan. They know this, and provide maps, but it's still not "user friendly." I think it is THE place to be if you are taking the train to the Grand Canyon, but probably pricy if not. There are many other chain hotels nearby that would be worth considering. This... More

We stayed 3 nights at the hotel. It was very clean, spacious and had very comfortable beds. Very centrally located to downtown Williams and several restaurants. The buffet at the cafe had a variety for everyone in our party and was enjoyed by all. I would definitely stay here again.

I stayed here with my husband since it was part of a package deal to take the train to the Grand Canyon. BEAUTIFUL!!! They just renovated the hotel, and it is simply beautiful. The rooms were so clean and the staff was friendly. They are very organized if you are traveling on the train, and I fully trusted them with... More

Stayed here on 3rd night of our 2 weeks holiday to USA. We had moved up from Sedona to Williams with the weather getting steadily worse (snow). At 1pm we were very grateful that the very friendly person on reception advised that our room was ready and we could go straight in. The room was one that I believe had... More

The location of this property is ideal if you plan to take the train to the Grand Canyon. The room itself was adequate but on the smaller size. The long winding hallways can be a bit confusing. The pool is very small for the size of this property and quite crowded when we walked by so we chose not to... More

Thank you for your comments on your stay at the Railway Hotel. The hotel was built in three phases, so can be a bit confusing to navigate. We supply a map, but even with that can still be a challenge. The pool is a popular place, and certainly could be enlarged. We have submitted a couple different plans for consideration... More
