The Grand Canyon Railway Hotel was our "base camp" for our railroad trip to the South Rim of the Grand Canyon. We upgraded to a Deluxe Queen room. Rooms were very clean, albeit a little old fashioned (which fit the hotel just fine). The beds were comfortable. The wireless exists, but is very slow, and every time my phone or... More

We stayed here 2 nights as part of the grand anyone railway package. Loved it. We had a standard room which had 2 queens beds. The room was large, bathroom was large. Everything was spotless. Beds were very comfortable with great pillows. First night we had drinks and a light meal at Spencer's pub in the lobby. We did the breakfast... More

We stayed here for two night as part of a package for train to Grand Canyon. The rooms were large & clean as was the entire hotel. This is a large place. There are two gift shops & large restaurant. The two nights we were there the interned, Wi-Fi was there but didn't function. I could log on but it... More

Nothing wrong with our Senior population, I am headed there quickly. But don't go to the bar here expecting a wild night. I was born in the 50's and I lowered the average age. But the hotel makes a convenient starting point for a Grand Canyon tour. Plus the town of Williams has all the late night you need. Don't... More

The room was clean, quiet, and comfortable. The furnishings were current and appealing. The staff was very helpful and courteous. We found the meals to be excellent. We also booked the train and bus tours of the Grand Canyon as a package with the room. It was well worth the price. We had a great time!

My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay here with a package including the railway to the GC. The Yavapai Suite has two queen beds and a nice sitting area, a small kitchenette with microwave, sink and refrigerator. The bathroom is spacious and updated with granite counters and subway tiles in the shower. The shower pressure was great, the beds... More

The hotel isn't anything spectacular but it is clean and very convenient if you are taking the morning train to the canyon. The pressure in the shower wasn't very good but other than that it was fine. The breakfast buffet is a similar story - nothing spectacular but convenient.

Plain, but functional hotel. No frills at all. For example, there are industrial size pump bottles of shampoo and body wash attached to the wall in the bath. Long lines at check-in because almost everyone is on a package and the staff explains the details to each guest. But then you have to walk across the drive and pick up... More

Thank you for your comments on your stay at our Grand Canyon Railway Hotel. I am sorry that your stay did not meet your expectations. The pump amenities in the rooms feature a very high quality product, and no plastic individual bottles reduces the amount of waste that goes into the waste stream. In fact, many people purchase the products... More

My husband and I booked a package for the train ride to the grand canyon, the hotel with 2 meals and a tour with a meal at the Grand Canyon. The hotel is nice. The rooms are clean and updated but we could have stayed in a local hotel for much less and still visited the Grand Canyon. The bed... More
