We very much enjoyed our stay at hotel and train trip to Grand Canyon. Staff at hotel were excellent. Room was very nice and comfortable. We definitely would go there again. We went right before Thanksgiving so it was all decorated for Christmas. A very wonderful find.

We did a quick 2 night stay at the hotel, going to ride the polar express on first night and Grand Canyon Railroad to the south rim on second day. The hotel was beautifully decorated, apparently completely remodeled recently. The staff was very professional and efficient. Being Christmas time it was PACKED with families with many youngsters in tow for... More

We booked a package deal for this trip. It was fantastic! The hotel El Trovar was in the most perfect spot great for sunrise and sunsets. The hotel is like being back in time but with modern touches, very clean. The train ride was well worth it-for preview of what to expect at the Grand Canyon.Words cannot express the whole experience and views.The... My husband and I booked a package deal online that included a hotel stay, meals, train ride, and a Coach tour at the South Rim of Grand Canyon. This was a retirement trip so we splurged in celebration. From the outside, the hotel is nothing special, however, once inside, it takes on a completely different appeance. Our room was a... More

We knew why we were staying at this hotel long before leaving Australia and that was to catch the train to the Grand Canyon. This hotel was a welcome relief after trekking out from Las Vegas at lunchtime. The rooms were comfortable and the buffet meal, although crowded, was pleasant. There were no hassles with bag transfers for the train... More

The hotel is excellent, very clean with lots of facilities, great friendly staff. Very nice salt water swimming pool. The food provided was buffet style and offers excellent choices. One tip would be to check if there are any events running at the time of your stay, we were unaware the polar express was running on our second night and... More

We stayed here for one night before taking the Grand Canyon Railroad up to the Canyon. Hotel was very convenient to the train. Restaurants were right on the property, so we never had to get back in the car until we returned from the canyon. Free parking at the hotel while we were at the canyon. Room was very nice... More

Stayed here with the family for The Polar Express experience in a package deal. 3 rooms and they managed to get 2 next to each other and the 3rd just down the hallway. The hotel has done a lot of upgrades since the last time we were there. Rooms are much nicer and very comfortable. The buffet dinner and breakfast... More

This hotel is located at the Grand Canyon Railway Station, making it very convenient when taking the train. We were two families having a pre-Thanksgiving holiday together in the Southwest. The food there is just average, which is why I can't give this an excellent rating. The town of Williams has good options. Our room was spacious, clean, and had... More

We stayed here on our first trip to the Grand Canyon. The hotel is good, the only down side was the lack of king size beds. Everything else was fine. The package with meals included and the train tickets simplified our trip so we could focus on enjoying the experience. I would recommend this strategy if you are new to... More
