Rio Tierra was everything we needed and more as an antidote for the stress of "Family Week"...I can't imagine what we would have done if we had had to return to a motel room after the stress and struggle of the day's work at the Meadows. Our MexiCasa made it all seem like home away from home. Relaxing by the... More

I wanted to get away by myself, as this is the first real Christmas without my husband who passed away one year ago. Having spent an enjoyable Thanksgiving with my children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren in California, it was time for me to be alone. I decided on Rio Tierra Casitas after reviewing comments by others. Believe all they say! I... More

We had a wonderful time at Rancho Deluxe. The place was the perfect getaway. The decorations, books and picutres made for an interesting time. We found this on the internet and it had good reviews. It more than exceeded our expectations. Bruce and Vickie More

We had a nice time staying with Katy. I have only praise for her and the Ranch De Luxe cabin. The cabin was two separate rooms with a bath and was MUCH larger than it appears on the website. It is also not nearly as cluttered as the pictures make it appear--just wonderfully charming with all the amenities of home.... More

I highly recommend Rio Tierra. I stayed in Mexi Casa for five nights and enjoyed the unique decorating, from the acid stained floors to the tin lined shower to the turquoise stove and matching sink. Katy has thoughtfully provided all the comforts of home. The casita was immaculately clean and the kitchen was well supplied. The only thing I would... More

I highly recommend Rio Tierra Casitas. We stayed for 5 days in the Mexicasa while doing family week at Rosewood Ranch. I can't tell how wonderful it was to come back to such a beautiful comfy home after our long days. I can't even imagine what it would have been like to return to a hotel instead of this incredible... We thoroughly enjoyed our weekend here with friends. We live in Phoenix not very far away but were delighted with this peaceful relaxing get-away. Katy and John were great hosts. The rooms were decorated with an amazing collection of odds and ends which all fit together and were entertaining to look through. More
